This is a fabulous house. In DC for child number 3 graduation. Five of us stayed in this roomy, beautiful and comfy town house. We have grown to love Alexandria and this house is perfect. Convenient to Old Town and easy short trip to DC sights. Great communication and check in a breeze. Not too many rules and restrictions and the ones present were very reasonable. Many spots for a group to hang together and lots of nooks for privacy. One of my favorite stays ever.

Enjoyed the location - easy access to a great walking trail alongside the Potomac; walkable to King St and shopping & restaurants, and parking was easy. House is comfortable and worked well for our family's visit to all be together.

We had a wonderful stay in Old Town Alexandria! Renee, our host, was super helpful with recommendations around the area. We felt like we were in the perfect spot to enjoy visiting DC and also enjoying slower paced evenings and mornings along the riverfront. The nearby park was wonderful for entertaining our busy little boys while the rest of the house got moving. Alexandria had a lot to offer — shopping, parks and restaurants. We found the area quite walkable. We loved looking at the architecture on our way to the riverfront. During our trip we parked and rode the Metro into the city for sightseeing at the National Mall and museums. We drove to Nat’s park for baseball games. We explored all over Old Town Alexandria, up to the King Street Metro even, on foot. We would absolutely book this place again! It was perfect for our family of 8. Nearby places we loved - Cooper Mill (upstairs patio and pizza), Chadwick’s (casual seafood), Frankie’s (we had a great brunch).

Renee was the best host! Communication was great! The record collection was amazing for our family of musicians, the house was a walk to old town and the hot tub was great! The kitchen was reviewed needed. Renee thought of all we needed! We will come again!

Perfect Stay

We had a fantastic stay in Old Town Alexandria! The rental was spotless, tastefully decorated, and perfectly located just a short walk to shops, waterfront restaurants, and historic sites. The host Renée was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, making check-in seamless and the entire experience stress-free. It truly felt like a comfortable home away from home. I cannot say enough about how amazing this rental was. From communication to cleanliness it was perfection! I went with all adults however, as Mom of 2, I noticed a lot of things there that would make it a great location for a family to stay at as well. It was beautiful, clean, and in such a great location. Highly recommend!!

A perfect home for a family gathering

We consider ourselves so fortunate to have discovered this home for our multiple family get-together for Thanksgiving. The house is incredibly well furnished, comfortable, and is in a great location. The host was so accommodating and available; she went above and beyond on so many levels.

A Gem in Old Town

We LOVED our stay at The Nostalgic. It's a home full of character and convenience. The walkability to town was a major plus for us. We loved the access to shopping and great restaurants and Ubers were great to downtown DC. The check-in process was easy and the home was comfortable and clean. The collection of albums was a great perk! Great place to stay! I would highly recommend it!
