We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Hugh’s home! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described—if not better. The space was comfortable, welcoming, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable visit.The only thing we missed was having a full kitchen. Since we were traveling with senior parents and young children under 12, it would have been nice to prepare some homemade meals. That said, the setup was still incredibly comfortable and well-equipped for our needs.Hugh was a responsive and thoughtful host—always quick to reply and genuinely invested in making our stay a great one. His hospitality really stood out.The location was perfect—peaceful and private, yet conveniently close to everything we wanted to explore. It was the ideal spot to unwind and spend quality time together.We wouldn’t hesitate to book again and highly recommend Hugh’s place to anyone looking for a clean, cozy, and well-managed getaway. Thank you, Hugh, for sharing your lovely home with us!

Outstanding host, personalized welcome, house instructions, and detailed information of local restaurants and sights, very responsive. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Huge tv with many streaming options. Location convenient to airport, many good restaurants, interesting sights. Air conditioning was appreciated in muggy Maryland weather.

I really enjoyed my stay stay! The property was clean, comfortable, safe and just as described. Awesome location, and Hugh was easy to communicate with and went above and beyond. He gave guidance on transportation and thinds do do around Bethesda. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Very convenient location to roads, DC, MD, restaurants. At the same time, the neighborhood is super quiet and calm. The apartment is cozy, comfortable and clean. The host is very responsive and positively explanatory.TV has all kinds of apps to enjoy for any interest.

Lovely place to stay. Very roomy and comfortable - beds were amazing and so huge!!! Hugh was lovely and really helpful before and during our stay.Location wise its perfect for getting into Bethesda and then onto DC. Bethesda is a lovely town with lots of shops and lovely restaurants. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed including large fridge and equipment as needed. Also the bedroom TV was do huge - biggest ive ever seen!!Thanks Hugh for a great experience!

hidden gem in a quiet neighborhood and close to down DC!

My family had a great time staying at Hugh's lovely place. Hugh is very warm, responsive and friendly. The rooms are quiet, clean and spacious with excellent noise insulation between rooms. Both my husband and I had worked remotely during our stay and this is a huge plus for us when we had meetings in separate rooms! Highly recommended to someone who are traveling to DC area and considering a family-oriented and safe neighborhood.

Hugh was absolutely a great host. Everything was clean & beautifully decorated. The location was ideal for a trip to the DC area. Hugh even went out of his way to provide a propane grill for us and helped us with the best ways to find great parking in DC and the Metro stations. I would definitely go back & highly recommend this listing.

Great stay if visiting DC

Great little 2 bedroom, 1 bath quarters for staying just outside DC. We took the metro into the city every day and the instructions given by Hugh are so informative and detailed, you can't go wrong! Hugh is also very responsive and a great resource during your trip. Would definently stay again!!

A Great Place In A Quiet Neighborhood

This place was exactly what our family needed for our vacation. Hugh was a great host and provided a lot of good tips on places to eat, things to do, and navigating the surrounding area. It was clean and comfortable with king beds that I wish I had at home. The water pressure in the shower was amazing, and there was plenty of AC and drinking water to keep us cool in an extreme heat wave. If we needed something, Hugh was very responsive and helped us out. The neighborhood was filled with good eats, including ice cream. The small kitchenette was just fine for our needs and there was also a laundry rack for clothes and towels which came in handy. There is a community pool and trails near by. I honestly don't have one bad thing to say about the place, it was 5 stars all around in our book. Thanks Hugh!

The property is great and is as advertised: there is ample space to accommodate a family, it has all the relevant amenities, it is clean, and Hugh is very responsive. We would definitely stay there again!
