Beautiful accommodations and comfortable couches and bed. Communication with our host was quick and helpful. The location has a lovely courtyard and is close to shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this quaint and cozy home.

Our host was quick to respond. All directions were clear and easy to follow. I made 2 lighting recommendations; in the dark alley and on the condo staircase. One queen bed is a Murphy bed, which took us a few minutes to realize and gave us all a good laugh. Perfectly located and parking was easy.

This is a great property and a great location. Jennifer was very quick to respond to any questions I had and the check in and out was a breeze. The only small inconvenience was the parking. The parking is a short walk which is great once you're checked in but it's a roll of the dice whether you can park near the property to load and unload luggage. This is right in the heart of Old Town which is great, just be aware that depending on your time of arrival you may not be able to park close for unloading. I would and will stay here again!

Excellent location-couple of minor things

The location is awesome and super convenient for exploring Alexandria. Communication with Jen good too. Only areas for improvement would be a better couch/use of space in the family room area which is pretty cramped. The dryer wouldn't run longer than 20 minutes even with cleaning out both filters many times-kept getting an error code.We didn't realize by the description that the living room & kitchen were in the basement which was difficult for one of our party who had bad knees.Just something to be aware of. Otherwise super cute, loved having 2 half baths and a full bath with 2 teenagers!

pros and cons

pros:- great location- bathroom was very cleancons:- the floor/ceiling is extremely thin. if someone is renting above this apartment, you can HEAR EVERYTHING (including talking), it is absolutely noisy. our issue was the people who had rented the upstairs got up at 4:30 am to go outside to smoke, every 15 minutes. reached out to owner about her 9pm to 7 am quiet policy and what we had experienced. she did not respond until I had reached out to vrbo 8 hours later, where they in turn contacted her.-the stairwell to the basement kitchen was not well lit.-the basement does not have any natural light/no windows (the kitchen, workspace and living room are in the basement)

So close to King Street and variety of restaurants/entertainment

The property was just as it appeared in the listing. A couple small things: none of the bedrooms or bathrooms had locks (or it wasn’t intuitive how to lock doors). Also, one floor was super comfortable temperature wise, while the lower floor was pretty chilly. Overall, we loved the proximity to restaurants and coffee shops and strongly recommend as an option.

Alexandria Visit

Needed a place to stay for one week while we visited our daughter, son in law and brand new grandson. Excellent stay in a beautiful home in Old Town. Jen was very supportive and accommodating with our requests. Her home was clean, beautifully decorated and easy to get in and out of. We were unfamiliar with the parking accommodations but Jen’s directions made it simple. Great coffee shop down the block (Misha’s Coffee Shop). The home was centrally located amongst numerous shops, restaurants and bars - easy walking distance to a variety of choices. Highly recommended!

Perfect location just off King Street

This place is in an amazing location and was very clean. We only stayed two nights but it was perfect for my family of five. Jennifer was so kind in explaining the parking situation to me more than once when I just wasn’t getting it. 😆 Only minor complaints… we wish the bathrooms had working locks and the dryer is a little temperamental.

Great location

Condo was in a great location and was as described on the website. We had a little difficulty the first day figuring out how to use the parking passes because we didn’t try that out until late in the evening. I would recommend you check it out earlier in the day if you can. We had an issue but the owner was responsive in getting it fixed. The kitchen is good for a light meal but we didn’t plan to cook there. There was very nice separate areas for individuals to use. Took us some getting used to entering on the bedroom level and having the living area downstairs but it worked well. We had an individual traveling with us that has challenges walking and seeing. More light in the master bedroom would have been helpful.

Ideal Townhome Just Off King Street

Property is centrally located in Old Town Alexandria, just 1/2 block from King Street shops and restaurants. Easy walking distance to everything from the waterfront to the Metro station. Stayed 4 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. Property is actually in a quiet courtyard just behind the buildings facing Columbus Street and very private. We stayed in the lower of the 2 units, but almost never heard the upstairs renters. The primary bedroom on the main floor has a beautiful brass bed, fireplace and attached 1/2 bath. The gorgeous and roomy full bath with huge walk-in shower is just outside the bedroom door. The kitchen is fully appointed and located in the lower level with a small living room and another 1/2 bath. Property is very clean and well furnished. Owners are easy to work with and responded quickly to questions. As with anyplace in Old Town Alexandria, parking is very limited, but there is a good underground parking deck just 2 blocks away, under the courthouse, with an attendant on duty and open until 1 a.m. Would definitely recommend this location for couples or small groups.

Love the place

This beautiful Vrbo was located in the Olde Town close to Mom and Pop shops, local coffee shops, and an various stores to shop in. The property itself was comfortable, and it made us feel like we were at home. There were several spacious bathrooms, the bedrooms were cozy and warm, and there was a gathering area with a kitchen and seating in the basement. We absolutely loved this Vrbo, and we talked about our next trip here as we were packing up. 5/5 experience.
