GORGEOUS property - autumn at this property is stunning. Lots of walking trails, amazing shoreline features. I love the outdoor seating arrangements (at least 3 clusters of chairs in different places along the shoreline - fantastic!).

Had a wonderful stay here! The views and location overlooking Lake Superior are beautiful and the home is very well designed for a small group of friends or family gathering. Lovely amenities and lots of space to relax in. Comfortable and quiet!

This was a very beautiful property outside of Washburn that was so private and serene. The cabin is very spacious and has all the amenities that you would need. The location was superb with only a few minutes to Washburn and 10 minutes to Bayfield. It was also on a dead end street so there were no cars that came down the road. We absolutely loved our stay and would love to go back again someday.

Summer girls trip

Perfectly secluded property, not too far from Washburn and bayfield. Beautiful views right from vrbo. House was clean and host was great can’t wait to stay again.

Astonishing retreat

The cabin was so lovely. We couldn’t believe how lucky we were. It was spacious and very well decorated. The lake was gorgeous. Highly recommend this little piece of paradise.

I loved the sounds of the waves on the rocks during the day and especially at night while enjoying the moon and stars from the many Adirondack chairs. Beautiful shoreline and their very own rock island!

Absolutely Wonderful

The property was absolutely beautiful. Everything from the furnishings to the views was perfect. I surprised my husband and 2 kids (9 and 11) with a New Years getaway and we all loved this property. We had everything we needed and more. We're all already looking forward to booking our next stay!

May visit to Bayfield County

Best location for a VRBO in Bayfield County - inspiring red sandstone shoreline with thoughtful chairs and staircase access to the water - Good Thyme restaurant, Houghton Falls, and Chequamegon bookstore are minutes away Very large rooms with an entire glass wall on the bay side of the property - great space for families and couples if the weather keeps you indoors

Location was incredible. Lovely views / grounds. Had all we needed for the short stay (kitchen, bathroom supplies). Would be helpful to be clearer about bed descriptions (1 queen, 1 king, 1 sofa bed). Could hear the owner upstairs often, hope we weren't distracting to them. No cab/Uber/Lyft services in the area at all, plan to drive everywhere. Many restaurants close early evening. Sparky's Bar/Grill was great! Local grocery store was awesome. Fun getaway! Wish we had more time to hike more, a reason to come back to the area. Thank You!

Best basement ever

I wish I could build, furnish and decorate a place this perfect on an incredible piece of property, I wanted to know where to buy sheets and towels that nice and furniture that nice….. but didn’t see the additional info on property of being just basement and not a whole house- in end only place available in area and one of nicest I’ve ever been - if ever for sale would love to own

Beautiful location

This was a beautiful property right on the bank of Lake Superior. Plenty of space for 2 adults and 3 kids (10, 14) There are trails going to the nearby park (watch out for bears as that shortened our hike!) We got into the water and some swimming and kayaking around the area. There is just a ladder getting in so it would a bit challenging for smaller kids. Nice area of a fire pit to just sit outside and take in the beauty of the area.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lakeside apartment. It was close enough to activities we wanted to do in Bayfield and Cornucopia related to the Apostle Islands and yet far enough away to get some peace and quiet. If you cook, you will find the kitchen tight to work in, but sufficient. The owner was there for the weekend. We could hear him walking upstairs sometimes, but it wasn't a big deal. Several of the doors were squeaky, but hopefully they can amend that. All in all, a relaxing and beautiful place to stay.
