"My first impression was the shed next to the house looked like a meth lab. Not sure if it belonged to the property or not. The house is a work in progress. Not quite the image that the pictures online depicted. No screens on the windows except for one kitchen window..So we didn't get much ventilation. The refrigerator wasn't working well, I had to clean the vents on the back and reset the power to get it to work. I wouldn't stay there again."

"The cottage looks nice in photos and they do keep it as clean as they can; however, it is very rundown. We were bothered by the strong smell of fabric softener (gives us migraines) and mildew. The beds were uncomfortable, the bathroom narrow and dark, and overall, we just had “the creeps” the whole time. So much so that we left early. Honestly, we expected more for the price. You can find better options in the area for what we paid."

"Host is awesome! Stayed a week. Our pup got swimmers tail, (didn't know that was a thing) from a swim in Superior. Our host helped us find a vet on short notice on July 3. Found the site very quiet and peaceful. Hard to find over the fourth of July. Remember it's the north woods of Wisconsin so expect north woods critters. Thank you so much again for the wonderful experience."

"We had an amazing stay! The unit was nice, clean, and modern, with a fantastic location. We loved being able to leave the car parked most days and enjoy most everything Bayfield has to offer within walking distance. We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony while listening to the Thursday concert in the park or simply watching the ferries go by. Communication with the host was prompt, clear, and easy.
