"Unfortunately our booked apartment accommodation was unavailable due to a gas leak. However, we were moved to a nice double room and given free breakfast to make up for this. We were also offered 50 % of dinner but the available dining slots were extremely limited so couldn't use that. It was a very comfy hotel, with a great shower, a pleasant mile walk to Keswick. I'd definitely stay again"

"Lovely cottage in central Windermere. The cottage is very close to the train station and central to all the shops and restaurants in Windermere. The cottage is very well appointed with lots of books and brochures about the area. We found this super helpful! Everything was super clean, the beds very comfortable and the kitchen well-stocked. The hosts were very responsive with any questions we had. We highly recommend this cottage for your vacation stay and would definitely stay here again!"

"Alojamiento en una ubicación muy buena en la zona de los lagos cerca de Keswick. En cuanto a la casa, decir que es necesario mejorar muchas cosas para que la estancia sea cómoda y placentera, empezando como punto principal por la limpieza. En nuestro caso, no estuvimos del todo agusto con esto. Las dimensiones del alojamiento son algo pequeñas pero suficiente para 2, 3 personas como mucho."

"We hired the bunkhouse for two nights of birthday celebrations and walking. Great location with stunning walks right outside the door. Wainwright’s Inn is a few steps away, as is the co-op with its little cafe upstairs. I hope to make our stay an annual event. Highly recommended!"

"Big house with great sized rooms and plenty space for our 15 adults and 5 children. Hot tub was great. Living space/bar area very roomy and open. The owners were very flexible with the Sunday checkout times which was nice of them. The kitchen is a professional kitchen (for the weekday BnB purpose I guess) so not quite the social space that you're used to in a more traditional house. One of the bedrooms does have a particularly un-private toilet in it, which may trouble some people. But overall,...
