"This was like staying with close friends. Comfortable, clean and cozy place. Owners stayed upstairs but was never a distraction. Super friendly hosts who wanted to ensure our needs were met. They accommodated our boat parking too. Would certainly recommend this place and we plan to return."

"Very nice lodging on the square in Osceola Mo. I grew up here and love to visit my hometown. Prior to this lodging there weren’t any real options of a nice place to rent. Chestnut now offers a great place to stay right on the square at a very reasonable rate."

"Loved fishing from the dock, Very quiet. Glad we had a 4 wheel drive truck, treacherous roadway getting to the property and extremely steep driveway. Live and dead bugs inside the house. Musty smell when not using the portable A/C unit. Trash bin on dock completely full, plus trash in sink on the dock. I rate this property 6 out of 10. "

"Our stay was supposed to be a memorial trip for 2 nights 3 days but upon arrival we were stopped by a free roaming guard dog that wasn’t in the description. Had livestock sitting behind the home we were staying in, that also wasn’t in the description. Once inside noticed a strong smell of cigarettes and me and my spouse both have asthma and we knew from them on we wouldn’t be able to stay.
