"Rented this unit for some employees. I misunderstood what two of them was telling me when they said their wives would be in next job. The wives showed up here and I had not disclosed them. The host was undstanding and let them go ahead and spend the night. I would have completely understood if she would have been upset. But after I apologized and explained she was forgiving. Place is well maintained and you can tell they put alot of time and energy into keeping it up."

"We could literally ski in and ski out, which was so nice! Also loved that we could walk to the village. The home has an awesome room for all your ski gear, including hooks/hangers/baskets to keep everything organized PLUS an awesome equipment dryer for gloves, boots, etc. The place itself was very clean and nicely updated. "We loved our stay over Mother’s Day weekend. The house is very comfortable and has a great front porch and lawn. The creek was lots of fun for our kids as well. Everything inside was well maintained. We didn’t use the back house at all but did check it out. Everything is close in Warm Springs so this place made the weekend very easy. I can’t imagine why staying at the Homestead would be better, at least with our young kids. We will visit again."

"This is a very well maintained property in a perfect location. Only a few minutes walking distance to the slopes & the village, and sporting great views over the mountain ranges to the west. Everything is clean and functional, and the owners are quick to respond to any requests. They even left a nice stack of firewood in the garage, and a basket with goodies (including home-roasted coffee beans) for us to enjoy. "Lovely house! We had a ton of snow and it was difficult to get to the property. Luckily we had 4W drive, which is a must. The only thing lacking was coffee mugs. There were 5 which is inadequate for a house that sleeps 20, but otherwise it was well equipped and comfortable."

"Black Bear Lodge was a great location for a reunion of friends and family that have been skiing together for nearly forty years. We love Snowshoe and the lodge was exceptionally convenient to Cupp Run. We had 14 adults and two children and we were all comfortable. Our host was great with communication and provided everything in the lodge needed for enjoyment. "Had an absolute amazing time at Treetop 29 and snowshoe. First time kids seeing snow. I’ve been coming to snowshoe for 30 years. Only thing that was disappointing was how the prices have gone up. Like the rest of the country Inflation has definitely hit snowshoe. Still had a great time"

"The old farm house was perfect for our two families. It was right off the highway so it was great for getting to and from Lexington for our kids races. The beds are very comfy and you have everything there to prepare meals. We stayed during winter so like most old houses there were quite a few lady bugs in the kitchen and bathrooms. There is only one shower so getting cleaned up each night after racing took some time but overall it was a great place to stay"
