"Such a serene, inviting cottage! We enjoyed our peaceful weekend at the mint cottage. It was immaculately clean, comfortable and inviting, and the perfect location to go explore Shenandoah National Park & George Washington National Forest. The kitchen was well-stocked, and it's easy to tell the owner takes great pride in and care of this relaxing space. The walking trails on the property were perfect for the dog too! We will return soon."

"Upon arrival there was a couch sitting on the walkway to the front door with a "Free" sign on it. There was no manual explaining: 1) The use of portable heaters or baseboard heaters2) Things to do upon entering or leaving2) Local attractions4) Emergency contact informationDid find a single sheet under the silverware tray in a drawer the next morning. It did contain a few of the above items.Dirty pancake turners, still had dried egg on them. We had to buy several pans and skillets because there...

"Our host , Tony, was extremely responsive… available for questions, advice about the area, etc.The dwelling was just delightful. It was nice and clean and comfortable… various little amenities were nice,..and impressively .. kitchen cupboard were stocked with spices and condiments for those wanting to cook…lots of stuff… grill is there also.Peaceful setting added to our relaxing experience.Highly Recommend!"
