"We have stayed at Alpine River Cottages many times over the years, and for a good reason. The location is central to both Bright and Myrtleford, without the business of either town. The cottages overlook the tranquil Ovens River, where in Summer you can swim and enjoy the natural surrounds. "It was a very hot weekend so the solitary aircon really struggled to cool the rest of the house. Stove was really old and would have appreciated some instructions on how to use that or the pizza oven. Bbq ignition button didn’t work either. Fruit trees outside were nice and my daughter enjoyed the emus next door."
