Cozy retreat with a sauna and garden by the canal

Sometimes relaxation begins in a very unspectacular way: Your bags are still in the entryway, the first cup of coffee is already brewed, and there’s nothing planned for the rest of the day—at least not yet. We designed this house specifically for moments like these. It feels warm and personal without being cluttered.



Spanning about 70 square meters, the living area, dining table, and kitchen flow seamlessly into one another. This is where we cook together, play, and often end up staying longer than planned. There’s one bedroom on the ground floor, and upstairs you’ll find the second bedroom and the open loft. An additional sleeping area in the living room provides space for up to six guests.



The fully fenced-in garden is a true haven of relaxation, especially for those of you with dogs. While your dog sniffs around in peace and roams freely, you can enjoy your morning coffee on the terrace. After a long walk, you can stroll through the garden to the private sauna with its own antechamber. In the evening, the fire pit is lit.



Right behind the house, quiet paths wind through the fields and along the canal. The café at the ice lock on the Langer Trödel is a great spot for breakfast or coffee. The historic section of the Finow Canal can be explored on foot or by bike. The Werbellinsee, the Schorfheide, and the Niederfinow ship lift are also worth seeing.
