"What a wonderful step into a 1950 cottage. It had a well equipped kitchen and the bedrooms are spacious. Luxurious bed linen and towels. "We had the best time Belmira vines. It really was the perfect escape for me, my partner and our dog. The landscape is beautiful, the house extremely well appointed, easy check in, great communication from host. We especially loved the thoughtful touch of providing fresh eggs and veges from the property on arrival. And enjoyed picking more veges and interacting with the chickens, sheep and alpaca! "Loved our stay at The Black Cockatoo. We felt quite secluded, despite being a 5 minute walk from the small town ( pub, cafe, shops) Our room was really spacious with a fully equipped kitchenette, very comfy bed and everything was lovely and clean. In quite some disrepair and basically sat in the middle of dirt dusty dead bush, we could only describe it as Wolf Creek and we woke up early after our first night and got the hell out of there.
