The guests were a couple that booked a 3 bedroom apartment. When they checked in they said they needed one bedroom only. I attempted to do the right thing by offering them a 2 bedroom apartment with a better view instead of the 3 bedroom apt booked. They inspected the 2 bedroom apt and accepted this offer. There was never any discussion about a refund.Even if they had come back to me after checkin and said they wanted the 3 bedroom apartment I would have moved them to the 3 bedroom apartment. When I became aware the next day they were not happy I attempted to discuss things but was shouted down. Our apartments are advertised as having a partial view and the photos are accurate.

This guest was clearly expecting 5 star accomodation - which we are not and do not pretend to be. The conversation with the guest started by her saying she was leaving early, demanding a full refund and if we did not she would be posting a poor review. My response to her was we do not cave to blackmail demands. And then she departed.

Thanks for your review. I would welcome a call from you to understand the background for the bed bugs comment. We do not have and have never had bed bugs. More likely you had been exposed to sandflies during the day. The TV simply needed to be reset as it had a new automated software update that had not loaded. If you had brought this to our attention we could have resolved it immediately.Cheers
