"Unfortunately, the hotel reviews from previous guests did not prepare us for the tired and “seen better days” hotel. The exterior paintwork peeling and despite very helpful staff the stairs, corridors and room had seen better days. We decided not to stay but booked another room elsewhere. Shame because we book many hotels through hotels.com and 9/10 have been fine. This was not “up to standard”. Sorry"

"Fabulous stay at the Bull for 3 nights. Great location in the centre of Woodbridge, opposite the old town hall. Delicious, well thought out food and a nice selection of wines"

"While close to town center getting there requires a walk up a very steep hill--not suitable for old people. The hotel was helpful in terminating our stay after one day. A well placed hotel for younger people requiring a basic hotel. Breafast was good. Evening menu should be avoided."

"Comfortable, clean room in a quaint old pub. Food was OK, but pricey. The most disappointing thing, given that the pub is owned by Adnams, was the quality of the beer. I tried all three of their staple brews, all of which I know and like, but they were all flat and lifeless. They were also very expensive given that they were only brewed ‘up the road’!!"

"We only stayed for 1 night but we were so impressed with how comfy, clean and spacious the lodge was and also the location of the hotel such a beautiful setting with the castle very close by really picturesque. Hotel staff were brilliant very helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. The breakfast which was included in the price was delicious and the eggs Benedict were perfect with a nice runny yolk. We’ll definitely stay again as Orford is such a beautiful quaint place to visit."

The room was quite compact but equally very comfortable, and had the benefit of a balcony over looking the estuary and boat yard. "was unable to sleep in the bed as the room had a major issue with black mould in the bathroom which had become airborne & affected the the entire room the smell was over powering slept in a chair as the bed was cover with the black mould smell & was unable to breath, suffer with chest infections which the spores got on my chest I had to call 111 & was directed to Ipswich hospital for antibiotics, never even stopped for breakfast on day 2 felt to ill on antibiotics for next 5 days, this all...
