We didn’t receive check in instructions until minutes before our arrival after I contacted the host. Although beautifully decorated, the home is a work in progress; it is being remodeled. At the time of my booking, the property was grossly misrepresented. Highlighted in the listing was the pool and the fitness center. There wasn’t a fitness center and the proclaimed ‘top rated pool’ was in poor condition. The property was not mowed and there was old equipment and debris lying everywhere. Outdoor furniture was dirty.This listing claimed the property was wheelchair accessible, it was not. There is no ramp nor does it have handrails for the stairs on the deck from which we were directed to use to gain entry into the home. 3 of the 4 recliners in the living room were broken. For stove use, one must go outside and turn on the propane tank it is externally connected to, located on the deck.We experienced electrical issues with some of the outlets and lights working off and on. We also had difficulty maintaining connection with the WiFi. The steep stairs leading down into the basement, where the game room Is located, did not have handrails. The basement is not finished and was dirty. Many of the games were either damaged or broke.Be aware, there an extra 25 per person charge for groups over 4 people. This is not clearly stated and I received a refund for this overcharge. The host/owner, NICOLAs, maintained excellent communication with me during our stay.
