"The cabin was perfection! The listing doesn't do it justice. It’s much more beautiful and cozy than the pictures show. Beds so comfy. And actually comes with everything you need not like those listings where “fully stocked” means one rusted pan, in this place everything was like new and immaculate! She even supplies wood and starter fluid for fire which normally you'd have to get yourself. Would fully recommend!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at this property. It was gorgeous and secluded and very easy to get to. We really enjoyed how cute the camper was and the availability of the fire pit. It was very clean, but had everything we needed for our mini camping trip. We loved that we also had a couple of ranch kitties which made us miss our own pets a little bit less because they were absolutely precious and so friendly. One of them actually insisted on sitting in my mom's lap while we were sitting outside...

"This was a wonderful house that was very clean and had everything we could ask for for a weekend stay. The hosts were helpful with any questions and left excellent instructions for anything a guest could need. While we may not have used the lake access, it was very nice to have, included kayaks available is wanted. "

"It was a great space for us for the weekend. Pool was a little chilly but not bad at all! Very peaceful. Would’ve loved a bathroom in the bunkhouse but we made it work! Great place and great communication with the owner. "

"The kitchen setup was by far one of the best. Appliances, cooling utensils, all items easy to find with labels on every cabinet. Down to the instructions for coffee maker and mugs that were lakeside perfect for a chill morning. Easy water access for paddleboarding, we brought our inflatable ones and enjoyed the quiet cove. Perfect get away lake house for friends and family. We will be back to try out giant connect four and the lily pad. Thanks again!"

"We loved our stay here. The cabin is so cute and clean. The animals are fun to see. It's just a very short walk down to the riverwalk which is great! The only negative I have is there wasn't much light in the bathroom. Hard to see anything in the mirror but there is a vanity in the bedroom with a light. Breakfast in the barn was so cool!! We would stay again. "

"Derek was extremely courteous and helpful. The furniture was all very comfortable and sturdy--obviously not box-store variety! Well stocked kitchen--which we enjoyed tremendously! We had no issues except a little internet issue and Derek took care of us right away. We've been doing this vacation for over 20 years, and this stay was one of my favorites and most relaxing of all. "The Shepherd’s Hut is a well appointed with puzzles the kids loved and a great plastic pool! Samantha is a fantastic host and the kids loved the farm and the animals, especially the peacocks! Highly recommended. TV had football so our teenager was happy! Very close to Glen Rose, Fossil Rim, and Dinosaur Valley. A wonderful stay."

"My husband booked the sunflower cabin for our honeymoon. We loved it so much, we went back for our anniversary this year. It was just as great as we remembered it. The hot tub on the back porch is very nice and relaxing. The complimentary bottle of wine they leave in the refrigerator goes great with it, too. Lol. Huge shower, comfy bed, and it’s pet friendly so we got to bring our two border collies. It’s the perfect secluded getaway to unwind, unplug, and connect with each other. "

"Very quaint little cabin. I did not realize that one bedroom actually meant efficiency and the bed was a daybed with trundle, so my husband and i had to sleep separate split level. But overall, it was a great place to stay for an overnight get away away from the city. "
