The Walla Walla Gem exceeded our expectations! The location was perfect - walking distance to so many wonderful restaurants and wine tasting rooms. The neighborhood is very quiet. The house was super comfortable for 3 couples. Each bedroom was spacious and the bathrooms were well stocked with towels, etc. The kitchen is very well equipped. We had breakfast in each morning and grilled steaks one evening for dinner. The back patio is so relaxing and charming. A great place for a pre dinner glass of wine around the fire table. The entire process, from booking the house, to check in and check out was seamless. We would definitely stay here again. I cannot say enough good things about this property and the host!

We had a wonderful time at the walla walla Gem. The house was amazingly clean, the beds were super comfy and the spaces were all larger than they looked in photos. All the rooms had nice sized en suite bathrooms. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking and there were also spices, oils and things like sugar for our use. The a/c also worked well and the house had nice shade trees. We were easily able to walk to restaurants and tastings 4-8 blocks. The parking was behind the house and felt secure back there. Would definitely stay again!

It was Raining …..Apricots!!

The house was amazing - clean, comfortable and well-stocked with amenities. We spent most of our time enjoying the outside space in back. Unfortunately, the lovely gigantic apricot tree was dropping fruit 24/7. It made the wood deck sticky and slick, and we constantly anticipated getting smacked by a juicy apricot. This issue is definitely seasonal, and the owner told me that they try to spray the tree to prevent formation of the fruit. Clearly this did not work in 2025.Apricots aside, we all would recommend the property. It is close to downtown, Whitman and fantastic restaurants. However, there are some run-down houses and characters frequenting the street. The house has a private backyard which is wonderful. Perfect for three couples!

Perfect Stay for 3 Couples

The home was perfect for 3 couples. Home was one of the best vacation rentals we have had the opportunity to rent. The owner definitely knows how to provide an assume experience for their guests. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could want for either a weekend or month long stay. No warped pans!! Matching dish and serving items. Almost like being in your own home but even better. Home was meticulous and nicely decorated. Everything was in working order. Beds were comfortable. En-suite baths. Lots of paper products, spices, cooking oil. Comfortable furniture and tv with good instructions. WiFi was excellent. BBQ in great condition with propane. Outdoor fire worked great. Close to downtown. We walked everywhere. Nice surprise was a small winery and tasting room just around the corner. As our host explained, Parking is limited to just the area located behind the home. The neighborhood included a number of older multi-family and the on street parking fills up in the evening with resident parking. It was quiet in the evenings. We needed an extra night and were able to contact the host with out any problems. Would definitely recommend this home.

Would stay at the WW Gem again and again!

I can’t recommend the Gem enough. It’s perfectly appointed and comfortable and has everything you could possibly need. The backyard is an oasis and we loved hanging out on the back deck. Perfection!

Old Friends Trip

There were 3 of us, all women. We were absolutely amazed at the house we stayed in. Not only was it spotless, but every little detail was over-the-top, from the kitchen to the beautiful bathrooms and comfortable beds. Each room looked like a magazine feature and the yard was beautifully landscaped. It is truly a 'Walla Walla Gem!' We highly recommend it and would stay again if we ever return to Walla Walla.

The Gem is a gem!

Great location to access downtown Walla Walla or drive to the wineries out of town. House was extremely clean. The kitchen was very well appointed as were bathrooms. The rooms were good sized and loved that each had its own bathroom—plus a powder room off of kitchen. Yard was lovely though the weather wasn’t so we didn’t take advantage of outdoor space. Definitely hope to stay at The Gem again!
