A very nice peaceful getaway. If you are looking for quiet, beautiful views with a relaxing home vibe, this is it. If you want to walk from the house, that really is not an option unless you walk the road off from the house.

Desert View

I had no idea of the terrain of Walla Walla prior to booking this rental. It look me a few hours to appreciate the landscape and the views from all the windows. The uniqueness of the home and all its creature comforts made it pleasure to rent. We sat under the stars and appreciated our great choice. Mike was very responsive and answered all questions. We would definitely come back!!

Special, secluded getaway

Beautiful views and home, serene atmosphere, Dreamy 100 acres was perfect for two couples attending a wedding and visiting a few wineries in Walla Walla wine country. Thank you Mike for sharing your special place with us!

Magnificent

Mike's description of his property is completely spot on. From the sound of it, you might wonder if it is accurate but I can tell you every articulated image is real. My Husband and I stayed during our third trip to Wall Walla and so enjoyed the very slightly remote location, the serenity, privacy and quiet. From watching the sun set from the lovely backyard, to the most comfortable bed and wonderful linens. We had everything we needed and more. We are already discussing returning again next year.

Great spring release weekend

This is our 3rd time staying at this wonderful property! Everything is thoughtfully done and the owner’s continue to improve it. It’s well maintained and well stocked and very comfortable for two couples. We love that it is close to town and everything Walla Walla has to offer. But it is private and quiet and peaceful. Beautiful views! We will definitely plan to stay again the next time we visit Walla Walla.

Such a Fantastic Spot

We spend three nights here and none of us wanted to leave. The views are incredible, the place is perfect both inside and out, and the host was excellent about communicating before, during, and after our stay. Five stars all the way!

Gorgeous, spacious getaway

The photos don’t do the property fair: the views go on for miles with little more than bird calls to break the stillness. The house photos are also understated — it is a warm, well-equipped home with great views from all sides.

The property was well described and met our needs perfectly.

Mike, our host, provided extensive info on the area and his recommendations on wine tasting, dining and other activities. Communication was warm and prompt. Take note of the Jefferson staircase and his suggestion regarding “small luggage”. It will make things easier. Kitchen and baths were very well provisioned. We would love to return to this property. The views and the quiet were simply outstanding. One small maintenance item to mention…tub in downstairs bath was not draining properly. May need a quick “unclogging”. Thank you for a wonderful stay in the Palouse.

Walla Walla, WA - What a great summertime experience!

What an experience coming from the northeast to stay in this unique home on 100 acres of rolling wheat growing hills. What impressed us most was the peace and quiet of this special location. My wife particularly enjoyed the outdoor shower and I found the house sound system easy to use with my iPhone. It goes without saying that each sunrise and sunsetwere amazing. The cute town of Walla Walla was only 10 minutes away and we were further impressed with super friendly locals, excellent restaurants and fabulous music. Lastly, the wine vineyards did not disappoint and with that we would like to give a special call out to Stephen Robertson a vineyard owner (SJR Winery - Delmas & Force Majeure) and ambassador of the Rocks District AVA! Thank you for your time and education regarding the Rocks District just over the WA/OR State line. Looking forward to our next Walla Walla trip.

Peace over the Valley!

So gorgeous! Quality construction, architecture; decor and furnishings, beautiful. Kitchen and baths are well equipped; laundry , convenient. The outdoor shower was the best! Heat and AC are both excellent. The house is so quiet, I didn’t even know a wheat combine was working 100’ from the house until I caught sight of through a window. From the listing photos, you might note that the views are 360 degrees and even more impressive than photos. As a suburbanite, I rarely to never experience enjoying cocktails on the patio in such peaceful quiet. The steps to the loft can be tricky until you figure it out and get used to it. We are planning on being here next summer! Thanks, Dave!

Great stay in Walla Walla

The property is very well appointed and in a beautiful location. Easy reach to town but private and quiet. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is particulary well equipped including sharp knives (if you do a lot of rental properties you know how rare that is!)

Peaceful and quiet getaway

The property is exactly as is advertised. It’s beautiful inside with very nice finishes. The kitchen is well stocked. It’s set up well and very comfortable. We used the king bed and it was extremely comfortable. We love the upstairs loft area because the views were also amazing. I was worried at first about the ladder stairs going up because we’re in our 60s, but it was no problem at all. My husband especially enjoyed using the outside shower every day! We enjoyed having a little picnic in the yard and at night we had brought our telescope so we were able to do some stargazing. We also had some amazing sunsets! The owner Mike is extremely nice and communicative! It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy our anniversary this weekend. We will definitely be back!

Grape Hill Was a Thrill

We stayed at Grape Hill to celebrate our wedding anniversary along with wine tasting in Walla Walla. The views were breath taking, vibrant green fields, and a super private location. The property was well appointed, super comfortable, had everything we needed and then some and we especially loved the outside shower! I grew up close by and was still awestruck bu the beauty of this location! Thanks to to Mike, he’s super communicative md easy going! We’ll be back!

Great spring release weekend

This was our second stay at this property and it did not disappoint. It is very nicely set up for 2 couples with both bedrooms being quite private and the main living area being open and inviting. The views are gorgeous and make for a very relaxing stay. The kitchen is well appointed and the home is generally very comfortable and user friendly. Highly recommend!

Tranquil Weekend in Walla Walla

This lovely home is located in the middle of the rolling wheat fields north of Walla Walla and is the perfect location for a long weekend. We enjoyed star gazing, moon rises, stunning sunsets, and taking in the vistas of the rolling fields. The well appointed two bedroom home has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The host was very helpful in making our stay a success. Contact was easy and we communicated several times ahead of our stay regarding local activities and events. I would definitely stay again!

Relaxing Home Base

The property was fantastic! The setting in the fields felt very tranquil and the house was in great condition. A hot outdoor shower on the cool mornings was a refreshing way to start the day before enjoying all the wineries that Walla Walla has to offer. Would recommend this property for sure!
