Lovely stay

Everything was as the listing stated. However, we never did find the bathmat that was on the listing and on the note in the bathroom. So it was not safe for me, and elderly person, to use that shower. That was not helpful for me as I cannot fall down. Also, the floodlights out in the yard on the corner of the house did not work.

Winter Stay

We spent three nights and enjoyed watching the waves all day. The beds are comfy and the layout of the house is roomy even with 4 adults and a toddler. Would love to stay again.

Perfect beachside retreat

We will definitely be back. Absolutely perfect little place right on the beach with a dog friendly fenced yard. House is well appointed and clean. We had big plans of eating out every night but wound up going to Rays in Waldport and grilling every night back at the house. It was so comfortable and inviting we just wanted to be there close to the beach. It was perfect! We’ll be booking again soon!

Oceanside getaway

Great home with amazing views! Although it’s an older home, everything met our higher standards for cleanliness and accommodations. The kitchen is well stocked! The only slight disappointment was that online VRBO pictures show firewood in the box by the chimney. There was just one firelog instead. Wish it would have had wood. They do provide helpful hints and tips by labeling everything around the house. The garage is set up as a game room and has a washer and dryer to boot. We came down from Washington to decompress and get away from work. We enjoyed leisurely walks on the beach. A “MUST-DO” is Devil’s Churn and Cape Perpetua - just a few miles down the road. We also got to enjoy tide pooling during low tide. We had the best time and the property was wonderful!

Beach Getaway

If you are looking for a midway point on the coast this house fits the bill. Our favorite part of the experience was the path to the beach with miles of walking each direction on the sandy seashore. Even though the house itself could use some updates we would certainly consider a future stay here.

Beautiful Views

The views are gorgeous enough to overlook some of the character flaws of this property. Having a pet friendly home is appreciated, but I spent most of my time rewashing dirty dishes I found. The latch on the dishwasher was broken so I called for help. It wasn't resolved. There was a missing screen on one of the windows, and I had to clean up someone else's dog poop. I paid an extra fee for late checkout. I needed that time just to cleam up messes that were there all along. Let it better than when I arrived.

all you need, with the best view

While this isn't a brand new home, it definitely has everything you need inside & out. Amazing view, great beach access plus fenced yard. Kitchen has more than what is listed including blender, electric griddle - which we weren't expecting, but glad they were there. Very short walk from the back yard to the beach. There is a gate accessing the beach path. Would recommend & would stay here again.

Great Ocean Views!

Pictures of home are just as described in listing. Gorgeous ocean views! Very comfy living room area. Liked that it has a fenced backyard which was great for our little dog, which doesn't wander far anyways but good to know that he couldn't get out and liked that it had easy beach access out the back gate. Even though we are 3 adults we enjoyed shooting baskets in the game area in the garage! Home had everything you could want Had a wonderful stay.

Our Family Favorite!

This home has been a go-to for our family vacations! This is the third time we've come and every time has been better than the last. The fenced yard is great for the kids and our dog to be able to run around and still be safe. Private access to the beach is also a HUGE plus! Nothing beats the peace and serenity from the views and sounds of the ocean. We love Waters Edge and hope to be able to return!

Love this house

This house has a comfortable, old family beach home feel, with all the modern amenities you could ask for. The pictures really say it all, just walk out the back door and enjoy the beach! Cons: Check out is too early - 10am, cleaning supplies are locked away - this was particularly an inconvenience as the window were VERY dirty, I had to wash them myself, by hand, when we first arrived as we could barely see the ocean. EVERYTHING else was spot on, we LOVED our stay and plan on coming back next year!

Great Property!

We enjoyed our stay very much at this clean well taken care of older property!! Couple of little things:: The path to the beach was a bit of a challenge as it had narrowed and become kind of steep. But my husband helped me get up and down it. It didn’t stop us from walking on and enjoying the beach! Also we wish they would wash the bedding in a detergent with no perfume or additives. But it was easy to wash them with some free of perfume, dyes, etc., detergent we bought at the local grocery store. We love this property and this area!!

In view and sound of the ocean!

It was very restful to watch out the front window and the master bedroom window and see the ocean waves. It was just a few steps to the beach. Walking on Big Stump beach every day was wonderful. The fenced yard was a bonus for my dogs.

Perfect View with beach access

The house itself was just ok. It is older and had a string old house/moth ball smell. The two bedrooms were perfect size and so was having two full bathrooms. There was ample space for six. The kitchen was well-equipped too. The "bedroom" with the bunks waa really not usable as a bedroom. It's a pass thru space to the garage and the crust made bunkbefs are too narrow. My two teens ended up on the hide-a-bef in the living room. The fenced yard was nice especially if you have young kids or dogs. The access to the beach was very narrow and only had dug out sand "stairs" so it was a bit tricky to get down and back up. Older guests or those with disabilities could not manage this access. The best thing about this house is the views. You are right above the beach and there are tons of large windows to look out of. Leaving your window open gave you the best wave crashing sounds.

Cozy house, beach to ourselves!

This was the PERFECT pandemic vacation house! We didn’t need to come in contact with anyone. The house was fully stocked, beds were super comfy, living area was roomy with the perfect view of the beach and sunsets. Fenced yard was huge and beach access was incredibly easy! Hardly anyone on the beach, so we mostly had the beach to ourselves. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful view of the ocean

This property was perfectly located. Great views. Comfortable home. Nice amenities. Waking up to the sight of the ocean was a treat. Property management was each to reach and prompt to respond to our inquiries. I highly recommend this property. The only inconvenience was the late check-in and early check-out times.

Beautiful beach location

This property was in an excellent location to enjoy the beautiful ocean views. The big king beds were comfortable and not too firm. This really was a great place to stay. There was plenty of room for the whole family and the kitchen had all the tools you needed. I would recommend they go through the shared pantry every once in a while. I went through it and threw away items that expired 7 years ago. I will say the faucets can be confusing at times, when you think you're turning it to hot the water just turns off. Once you figure out the trick it's not too bad. While the property could use some updating, we really enjoyed our stay there. The most frustrating part of this stay was when I tried to shorten my stay by a couple days due to a scheduling conflict with my son's school. I had to go back and forth with the management company because they were not answering my questions about adjusting the number of days we we're staying. Eventually they just refused to allow us to shorten our stay. So we ended up paying for two days we weren't even there. We attempted to shorten more than a month out from our stay.

Nice home on ocean front

You cant beat this house it has eveeything you need to stay there. We have stayed at this house a few times now and its always refreshing to get away to this home. Great place for your dogs. A short walk to the beach and to crack tour windows at night to hearvthe ocean sounds. I love this place!! The only thing is I would prefer a check out time of 11 am instead of 10 am. Its hard feeling that rush to clean up and get everything packed up to go by 10am. Otherwise you can not go wrong rwnting this house.

Weekend getaway

This was a great place for our weekend trip to introduce our son to the ocean. The house had all of the amenities we needed including very Beautiful views. The only downside was that the beach access ‘trail’ was very steep and narrow. The trail was easily traversed by my husband and I but difficult for my in-laws who are spry but in there 70’s.
