The kitchen was well equipped. The hit tub was not very warm. All the rules posted all over did not make the house feel very inviting. Something is up with the electricity.

The house was very cute and great for families with the separation of master from other 2 bedrooms. Beach access was great and easy to get too. The house needed a deep cleaning. The cabinets felt sticky and one chair smelled like dog pee. Needs to be swept under the sofas. We cleaned the bookcases and the books. The deck had a loose broad that was hazardous that we fixed. We think the house has great potential. We would want to return in the future.

Great house, ocean view, only a block to the beach! Beds are comfy, plenty of towels, kitchen has plenty of everything. Just be careful, as the tub in the second bath is slippery - could use a non-slip mat. It's the second time our family has stayed here, and we enjoyed our visit and would stay here again. My only complaint is that it wasn't as clean as our last visit. It is due for a deep clean (cobwebs, fuzz around the edges of things, etc.). Also, my dog needed a drink as soon as we got there. She dripped on the tile, and I wiped it up with a paper towel. The paper towel was brown when I picked it up, which led me to believe the floors hadn't been cleaned very well. Otherwise, we enjoyed the house very much!

Excellent Place to Stay For Our Annual Girls Trip

Beautiful home, exactly as described, well stocked with everything we needed. I appreciated that we were contacted prior to our stay to let us know that blinds ordered for the new sliding glass doors would be delayed. I told them that was fine, we could work around it and we did. I'm so glad that we stayed here. It was a pleasure and you could walk a few blocks down to the beach. Beautiful sunsets over the ocean too.I would recommend a step stool for the bed in the master bedroom. I am short (5.1" tall) and had to bring in a chair to get into the bed (it came up to my chest). :) Again, it was still worth the stay.

Great experience!

Had a family get together at our favorite beach location. The house has a really well stocked kitchen as far as pans, plates, etc. Several in our group enjoyed the hot tub. Spacious & open which made it nice for playing games and visiting. Slept comfortably. We would stay here again.

Nice Place

The house is on the older side with some things showing that, a few could use updating like switches, light bulbs and better exhaust fans in the bathrooms. All in all though to property is fine, it's in a great location where you can look out and see the ocean, we saw whales just out a bit from the waves breaking near the beach and a short drive to the Bayshore pool which is nice and warm. The refrigerator is probably due for replacement, it runs almost non stop and is a little loud. And updated instructions for the TV and Remote control would be helpful, we could not figure out for the life of us how to add the Disney plus app. This part of Waldport is super nice and quiet with lots of friendly people around, all of Waldport itself is a neat town, as well as Yachats to the south. If there on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday do yourself a favor and go to Pacific Sourdough!

Great views, easy beach access

Lovely house with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The trail to the beach is a short walk past 5 or 6 houses. The house was clean, the beds were quite comfy, and the neighborhood was quiet. The outside garbage hadn't been emptied, and I received a quick response to my message, and it was taken care of. The kitchen had all the dishes, pans, etc. we needed except crab crackers, which would be a nice addition. There was plenty of space for our group of 4 adults and 3 children. Two of the bedrooms are quite small (barely hold a queen bed) and all bedrooms were hot at night but were better with the provided standing fans. My only complaint is that there are a lot of "rules" posted all over the house, most of which were not mentioned in the listing. Some were understandable: Don't mess with the settings on the hottub, Run the bathroom fan for 15 minutes after you take a shower, Only use Presto logs in the fireplace. Some were a bit extreme: Quiet hours are 10pm-9am (10pm is pretty standard, but 9am is well past standard quiet hours), Always keep the storm doors leading to the deck latched (so you can't let in the ocean breeze?), Don't cook crab or "smelly" fish in the house (no cooking fish at a rental at the coast?). The homeowner has every right to make such requests, but they should at least be included in the listing information. We still had a lovely time, and the house is quite nice, but I thought these things were definitely worth mentioning

Good house but dirty

It was a nice location and layout but it was not very clean. We had to change the sheets and wash them when we first arrived. Additionally, the hot tub water had a brown foam and we did not feel like it was usable. Otherwise was a very easy walk to the beach and kid-friendly.

Great Stay with Minor Issues

We had a wonderful stay at this property! Despite past bad experiences with pet-friendly places, this one was very clean. The hot tub was great, and it was super close to the beach. The property had lots of natural light, which we loved. We did run out of trash bags, toilet paper, and paper towels within a few days, so having more stocked would have been helpful. The most northern room doesn’t have a screen for the window, making it quite hot at night. The TV was a bit tricky to use but worked great for watching movies. Overall, it was a great experience and we enjoyed our time here.

Family vacation

Property was wonderful. Great location with just a few minutes from the beach. Close to both Waldport and Newport. Clean when we arrived. Plenty of room for our adult family of 6. Ran out of a few things like paper towels.

Cute Beach House

The house was beautiful, and my family and I had a lot of fun. The house matched the pictures and had easy beach access only a few minutes from the home. We primarily spent evenings at the house, but it was a cozy gathering spot at the end of each day. My nieces and nephew also loved the hot tub. I did have some difficulty after checking out. We were blamed for losing a Roku remote that wasn’t there when we checked in. I paid $46 to replace it (I should have sent a message the moment we realized it was gone). When we checked out, we followed the clean up instructions. We did NOT vacuum, mop, dust, clean toilets, tubs or showers. However, we DID start a load of towels, loaded and ran the dishwasher, picked everything up off the floor, emptied garbages and left the beds unmade (per check out instructions). I also left a $40 tip for the clean up team (plus I paid a cleaning fee). The Monday after we checked out, I received a message from the owner. I didn’t see the message until Thursday morning, and she had turned me into VRBO for “using the house hard.” She also said we had left significant blood stains. The “blood stains” were chocolate milk my two-year-old niece snuck into bed. I didn’t see it, and I would have washed the sheets if I had seen it. I apologized, but I’m still not sure how we used the house hard as she didn't explain that to me. I think if a deeper clean is needed, it needs to be stated in the check out instructions. Aside from this issue, we had a good time.

Annual Sister Trip

This is the third time that we have returned to this property for our annual 'Sister Trip". There are four of us all in our 60's and 70's and the location and house are PERFECT for all of us to spend some cherished time together!
