It was perfect for my family and the kids enjoyed the game room and overall just being away from home. We are all from Hawaii but now living in Oregon and the sound of the ocean was healing to us. Much needed mana. It rained the whole time but it gave us quality family time. I do feel the master bedroom needs a TV in it and the bed is low so when you get off, the wooden bed frame hurt my legs but it beautiful, clean and loved the kitchen and that dining room table was a dream! lol We will be back! Mahalo!
1st time on the beach and he was trippin'!
Bring a flash light for night adventures.

House was great with a great location. The dishwasher, oven and gas fireplace quit and they did try and fix what they could. There needs to be instructions on how to operate the gas fireplace etc. the heater in the master bedroom doesn’t work. Low hot water pressure at the sink and when the dishwasher isn’t working you need it. Cheap dish soap and TP is not up to the quality you would expect in a house at this price point. There needs to be an investment made into maintenance and upgrades to the appliances. All that being said it is a great house and location.

Clean rooms but there is something in the freezwr that was pretty stinky. There was also some freezing and something leaking on the very bottom drawer of the fridge. I think the freezer may have been freezing out the bottom part of the fridge and then it would melt and then it leaks

We had a wonderful time with 4 generations together for a weeklong vacation. The home was a great layout for all of us and we enjoyed the game room and hot tub. The beach access was great. We had a wonderful time. We would love to come back!

Great beach location

Convenient beach access, beautiful and well equipped home! Plenty of space to spread out and has a great game room in the garage area. Hot tub was great you warm up after a day at the beach. Will definitely stay again!

Beautiful and spacious home

Bayshore is a super quiet and lovely area. Beautiful and spacious oceanfront home with stylish furniture and decor. Very comfortable beds. Great view of the Walport Bridge. Due to the big dune in front of the home, there is only a partial ocean view. Loved the hot tub. It is an expensive home to stay in and here are some disappointing observations which should not have been an issue but it did impact our stay: the remote to the motorized blind in master bath was missing. No coffee filters for the regular coffee maker (we had even called ahead and asked about the type of coffee maker and thus brought a bag of coffee beans). There was also a small Keurig but no Pods (it would have been such a noce welcome to have Pods) - so no morning coffee for us which was a huge bummer. Also, only pepper, salt and a small bottle of oil - no other spices to be found. No cutting boards. Finally, the TV remote in the living room needed new batteries which we had to buy.

Amazing beach front property!

This house has everything you need for a 2 day or 2 week stay! Equipped with plenty of towels for the hot tub, board games as well as ping pong, pool and shuffleboard for the evenings in. Spectacular ocean views from the spacious living room. Plenty of room for a single family or group of 8 We will be back again!

A wonderful Oregon Coast retreat

We had an amazing time with grandparents, children, and grandchildren at the Oceanfront on Sandy Beach! The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. It was immaculately clean - especially for being pet friendly. There was zero indication that a pet had ever been in the house. The hosts thought of everything. We loved the large kitchen, the huge dining room table (where lots of board games were playing with all 3 generations), the hot tub, the game room, and the short walk to the beach. The fireplace wasn't working and Sweet Homes sent someone out to fix it while we were exploring the Aquarium; we appreciated their quick response to us. We loved that all three families had their own space and the adults could have adult time while the kids played in the game room. Some reviews mentioned decor and bedding. We found the bedding to be incredibly comfortable and the decor to be modern and pretty fancy. The one bummer is there isn't a closet in the primary bedroom, but the hosts have hung hooks to accommodate that. And there was a lot of other storage. As others have mentioned, the walk down to the beach is steep. The grandparents didn't try to go down the steep trail, but they knew this ahead of time and we found easier beaches for them to use as access. We'd happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking at it.

Family vacation

Beautiful home, well stocked kitchen and family enjoyed the hot tub and game room. Access to beach a little challenging but there were easier beach entrances north & south of property.

There is a Season

There were many pluses to this high end rental. The location is lovely and you can walk to the inlet and it makes for an interesting beach escapade. We saw seals, pelicans, and an osprey with a fish in his mouth flew right over the deck. The deck is lovely and large with plenty of seats. The hot tub is spectacular. Seats six comfortably and was very clean and new. The decor in the house is a little bizarre. Clearly updated from the 70's but with some strange inconsistencies. Our biggest complaint were the beds. Time to invest in new mattresses and linens. Beds were lumpy and springy. Linens are old and dated. Kitchen is a little small for the number of potential guests that the large dining table could potentially accommodate. Kitchen is stocked like a rental company owns it. Beach access is great, but not for older people as the dune to get down to the beach is quite steep. The rental company is very professional and provided many, many towels. I would rent again only with new mattresses, however.

Amazing spot on the beach

Tremendous home that has more than enough room for eight people. Wonderful view and beach access, home was immaculate. The only thing to be aware of it is a steep up and down from the beach on sand. Otherwise perfect.

Incredible beach and views

The home was very well kept and clean, the beds were comfy. The views were amazing! Access to the beach was fairly challenging right from the home, but there was easy access at the club house. 5 stars all around.

Great family vacation house!

Overall we were very happy with our stay at this house! We came for my mother’s 50th birthday, with 8 adults, 3 cars, and 2 dogs. The weather wasn’t the best (but we’re from Oregon, so we’re used to that) and that didn’t impact the trip at all because there was plenty of space, tv and other activities we could do all while in the same house all weekend (ping pong, billiards, shuffle board). The thing I was most impressed with was how well stocked with kitchen items this house was— made cooking every meal for our large family also a breeze. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Beautiful home and location!

Family Fun on the Coast

This house was just the right size for our family! It had a big kitchen and lots of sand toys for the kids, which was great! My only complaint was that the house was clean overall, but the blackout blinds did not work very well. Some of them didn’t even stay down so we had to put a chair in front of them to get them to work. Some of the blinds had this issue too. Other than that, it was great! ❤️

Perfect for families

My family loved our stay at this property. The home and location were awesome. The on-site hot tub and access to the Bayshore Club pool really put it over the top. Private path to a beautiful beach that is way less busy than Newport or Lincoln City.

Peaceful Location Doesn’t Disappoint

The house has a spacious and fully loaded kitchen. Beautiful back deck. Hot tub and grill bonus points. Comfortable spacious bedrooms. Easy walk out the back door to the beach. Great indoor and outdoor property. Loved it! I give give stars because the listing is accurate and the house is everything it says it is. A few things to note: There are no fans (portable or on the ceiling). Not a problem, but I’m perimenopausal and so is Oregon weather. It’s nice to have a cool breeze when it gets a little hot and humid inside. The neighborhood is undergoing construction (May 2023) and quiet hours are 9pm until 7am. Construction starts at 7am on the dot. This isn’t a deterrent since the sounds of the ocean and sea life are a peaceful balance. Fantastic place overall.
