Location is amazing, house needs some TLC.Pros:Gorgeous ocean view! Amazing place to watch the sunset with close beach accessSeveral bedrooms and bathrooms Plump towels (mostly) with beach towelsPlenty of spaceWindows that open to the sound of the waves upstairsEffort was put into decorating with an eclectic beach vibe A small deck on the lower floorKitchen was fairly well-stockedNear Waldport and Yachats and Newport are relatively close byWasher and dryer are providedCons:Downstairs needs an upgrade and some TLC. It is dated and smells of mildewThe house needs some deep-cleaning including the windowsills.Furniture needs to be tightened, particularly the dining and living room tables and dining room chairs.There are several 2-3" floor level changes that were a tripping hazard and need reflective hazard tape on the edges (small caution signs are there). Kitchen towels along the edges were needed to stop stubbing our toes.One upstairs bedroom was missing the shower soap/shampoo/conditioner.Layout is odd--like puzzle pieces that don't quite go together. Unique and fun, but confusing. Best bathroom was down odd hallway by the laundry.Some bedrooms are not enclosed all the way or have a glass window without a curtain. Some pillows are very flatDownstairs has no open windows so you can't air it out or hear the oceanSilverware needs upgradingConflicting signs about garbage day Some inadequate and slow responses to inquiries
