Stayed over Christmas with two couples and one dog. Great for dogs—our big guy loved the fenced yard. And just a short walk to the quiet beach. House was clean and comfortable with a great layout—one bed/bath downstairs, one up. Only minor issue we had was very little hot water from the upstairs bathroom faucet due to a weird plumbing situation. All the other faucets/showers worked fine, so it was a very minor issue. We would happily stay here again.

Property was good, but really it was a place to store our crap while we went and did the things that made our vacation. Not trying to discredit the fact that the house was nice but not the type of person for a fancy hotel or vacation home. That's not the point of a vacation IMO, you're there to do things, the house is not the destination.

Everything was absolutely perfect except for the fact that the first thing I had to do was clean up all the dog poop from previous guests. This should be part of the housekeeping that gets done. Giests should not have to clean up after the previous guests.

Overall good

Overall a good property. Be aware a couple of things were unclear in the listing. The fence in the yard is only 3-4 feet high. Our dog jumped over it. The exit to the backyard is through the master bedroom which was disruptive when we needed to let the dog out.

Love this place. ADA amenities were nice.Great to be able to have our little dogs in the backyard and not worry about them getting out.The kitchen pots and pans need refreshed, pretty old. There was a pot and the frying pan in the cabinet that was dirty. The housecleaning wasn’t the best.Dog hair everywhere and needed to be dusted and sweep. Overall we had a great stay. Just wished it was abit cleaner.I would go back again!

Coast Trip

Overall we had a nice quiet stay at this location. The house was easy to find and we appreciate the fully fenced yard with grass. The amenities could use an upgrade, especially the beds which were worn out.

Best beach house I've found in years

This house was perfect for us and our dogs. The back yard was a grwat safe space for them. We had nearly everything we needed in the kitchen, and were able to make out own meals easily. We didnt finish the 1000-piece puzzle though. Maybe next time!

Cozy for family with dogs

We enjoyed our stay. The house is a little dated but clean. The loft was fun for a play space for our daughter and the yard was great for our dogs. The house was spacious and the kitchen was well stocked with basic necessities. It was relaxing to have somewhat of a view of the ocean. The price was really appropriate for the listing. The only complaint was the downstairs bed was uncomfortable and very old feeling, and it would make a huge difference if replaced.

What we were looking for

Great stay for our family who were looking for a cabin feeling place to stay close to the ocean. It was nice a tidy with all the essentials. Access to the ocean almost right across the highway at Tilicum Beach Campground. The heating through multiple thermostats worked fine. Nice and cozy. Thank you.

Summer Fun

Had a great time. Was a little apprehensive about the place at first as it's an odd set up. But, turned out we really liked the house. Like previous reviews there are not an extra blankets, but I had packed our own due to the reviews of no extra blankets. The yard was great for my dogs, but they are not jumpers so the 3 ft fence worked fine, but if you have jumpers you might think twice or bring a lead to tether them. In the main bedroom up on a ledge is a small bassinet, high chair and another item that was kinda creepy, but we still loved the place and we'll be back. Also moved the chairs to wear we could see the ocean and play cards on a beautiful day and that was really great too. All in all we liked this rental.

So close to a 5-star visit!

This was overall a great place to stay! There were just a few details that would have made it better: -- Curtains (preferably light blocking) in the loft with the two twin beds. My kids had a hard time falling asleep and woke up really early. They ended up coming into our bed and falling asleep because WE had light-blocking curtains! -- Blankets for the two twin beds. None were provided. -- New dishes in the kitchen. There were a lot of concerning dishes with chips and huge cracks. -- The addition of measuring cups, measuring spoons, and a whisk. We missed having these in the kitchen! We'd be happy to go back, and hopefully these will be fixed for next time! :)

Something is dead there!

Not worth the price! Very old and dingy. Broken blinds. Walked in to not less than 50 flys on the windows, floors, counters, every room, mostly the living room. No fly swatter, called to get one and some help, no one ever showed! I spent the first night with an old hand held vac I found vacuuming up as many flys and spiders as I could PLUS all the spider webs and other grime. Next morning finally got most of the rest of the house cleaned. Paid to have the house cleaned after we left, think I deserve that money back plus and hourly wage for my work! Windows had black mold and were dirty. Heater in master bedroom did not work and it was very cold!! Front bathroom was big and handicapped assessable but the toilet seat was a round seat on a long toilet and had deep scratches that made it look very gross!! Thanks for having TP and paper towels available, but for the price a better, softer brand would be nice!! All the furniture and decor was very old and looked like a Goodwill store! The couch cushions were broken down so you sank deep when you sat on them. The beds were very old and not very comfortable:( From the customer service I’ve gotten so far I doubt Vacasa or vrbo will do anything to help fix this so BUYER BEWARE!!
