This property was perfect for our 4 families with children of different ages. The view was breath taking, and waking up to it every morning made our stay absolutely worthwhile.
Even though we were by the coast in June, we still lucked out with a couple of sunny days. The town was quaint, and everyone was friendly. We liked both restaurants we ate at, and got to do many sightseeing (the seals were just adorable!)
The outdoor firepit was a hit for story-telling and s'mores.
A few things I'd like to note:
-the dishwasher at the guest house was labeled 'out of order' when we arrived, and was in the same condition when we left
-there were 2 dishwashers in the main house, but only one operated
-the smoke detector in the northwest bedroom kept beeping even after we replaced its battery. I also notice a missing detector in the northwest hallway
-on one of the sunny days, we came home around 4 or 5 pm, and the house was very warm (temperature was 84 upstairs). The nice thing was, after we opened all windows and sliding doors, it cooled down after 30 minutes
-this property seems to be a favorite to many, which is why I see many other areas needing upkeep (ripped window blinds, no landscape lights, etc.)
-many basic spices in the kitchen but no sugar
