"We had the best time staying at Castaway Cove. Ellie and Kelly are wonderful hosts who have thought of absolutely everything. They know all the best places to have the quintessential Oregon Coast experience from agate hunting to tasty restaurants and tourists activities and everything in between. My 8 and 12 year olds said their favorite parts to staying at Castaway Cove were the cozy bunk beds and fun decorations as well as the great location. The property is right next to the Alsea River...

"We love staying at this property. It is conveniently located between bye beach and the waterfront in the bay. So exploring shops and restaurants is really easy."

"Great location overlooking the beach, which has both wide sand stretches and rock formations. But be aware, the gate to stairs down to beach has combination lock on it, so be sure to know it. There is a lot of road noise early in the morning since condo is located just off road. Can't imagine sleeping 6 here. There are two queen beds and two mini futons in upstairs bedroom that might serve for children, but not adults. Kitchen needs to be restocked with a few more items. Pretty sparse on...

"This is a lovely, restful place that was perfectly suited to our vacation. Very comfortable and spacious for our party of three, we especially enjoyed the amazing balcony view of the Ocean plus the easy and private beach access! We did have a slight issue with the property but it was resolved quickly with thoughtfulness and to our satisfaction. We are recommending this place to all our friends and family.
