We appreciated the remoteness of the cabin and the property in general. Hiking opportunities abound, as well as the wildlife. During our week stay we saw pronghorn, moose cow and calf, deer, many varieties of birds, rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks, and of course the whistle pigs PLUS an ever-changing gorgeous view - all from the cabin deck. Things to bring: bug spray, all your food, readiness to detach from the digital world.
The mattress was not very comfortable, which is something I crave after hiking up a mountain - but the cabin is a value for the money. FYI- I would happily pay more if the mattress was upgraded. All in all a wonderful trip!
