Great location and views with wildlife
Property was just as promised. Was clean and easy to access. We even saw snowshoe hares and a fox on the prowl. Would stay again without hesitation.

Snowmobile guys trip.

Stayed four nights in Walden snowmobiling. This place is spacious has plenty of room for trailer parking, and the views are great. Would definitely stay here again A+++

The location was just perfect for my guys to go ice fishing, and the house was so nice and warm to come back to. There were plenty of movies to watch and some games to play. This was such a peaceful mini vacation for us that we are looking forward to next year's trip and hope to stay here again!

Lovely cabin
We truly enjoyed this cabin. Spacious, decorated nicely, everything you would need for a great stay. NOTE: I believe we left an electric toothbrush in the bathroom at the cabin. Could you please advise.

Great place to stay!
We enjoyed this property for a second time. It has more than ample space to park our trailer. So easy to get to hiking and ATV trails! Hayle is so helpful from the beginning and through the stay. Awesome place!

Host was nice. Had a small miscommunication with the check in but she communicated as quick as she could and everything was smooth from there. Close to town and the lake. Place was cozy. Overall good stay

Great stay in Walden
We had a comfortable stay! Everything we needed was available and the beds were comfortable. Great views from the property. Saw a herd of deer while drinking coffee in the morning. Thank you for a great stay and we are already planning to come back soon!

Peaceful Setting
Very pleased with the accommodations. Well equipped, spacious and very clean. Easy drive to Walden, yet far enough out in the countryside you could see nice panoramic views of the mountains and very quiet. Communication with the host was very easy! Would highly recommend.

Ice fishing and Birthday Celebration in Walden
My wife and I decided to celebrate my 33rd Birthday ice fishing the Walden area! This location was perfect for us to quickly access any of the surrounding water and was very close to town if we needed anything. The house was spacious and had all the amenities. Upon request, we were able to bring our two dogs Nali and Kenai as long as we respected the special pet accommodations per the owner. We used the grill out back to make Alaskan Caribou burgers, and the kitchen was great for making a large birthday breakfast with some hot coffee! The bedroom was clean and comfortable and the shower was nice and hot after a day on the ice! Not much more a young man could ask for to ring in 33! Overall we loved this property and will be staying again.

One night get away from Yampa CO. In town to purchase cows from local rancher.
We are from Yampa Co., and came to Waldon to buy some cows from a local rancher. Spent night before in this cute place. Enjoyed a steak dinner in town, came back and spent remainder of evening playing cards. Only thing that was a bit disappointing was we couldn't figure out the coffee pot😆. Not sure if it was broke or our error (probably operater error 😆) but we survived just fine...well I can say that because I'm not a big coffee drinker, others were a bit edgy until we got to town and got them some coffee at gas station 😉 We had a great time and sincerely give this place 5 solid stars!! THANK YOU 😊

Snowmobile trip
The place was comfortable for 4 guys and all of our snowmobile gear. There is plenty of room for a large trailer. The only thing that would’ve made it better would be if the place had a washer and dryer

Great place, dog friendly!
Thank you for such a wonderful stay. The location is great for outdoors people who don't need (or want) a lot of in-town activities and a wonderful launching point for lots of day trips (we went to Steamboat, Saratoga, and Grand Lake). There is also a lot of hiking to do within 30-45 minutes, which is what we came for primarily. We also enjoyed the Arapahoe Wildlife Refuge and playing with our dogs in the North Platte. The unit was clean and as advertised, with a great yard for fetch with the dogs and grilling in the evenings. Super clean, everything you need, and just outside of town. The view out of the back -- a single tree against a sagebrush valley -- was perfect. The view of the sunset in the front was wonderfully unobstructed. And don't miss the pronghorn and fox that come through most evenings!

Perfect Walden location
We brought our kids and dog to Walden area for some camping. We chose this place to break up the camping trip. The view from the back was well worth the stay. We spent most of the time on the porch gazing at the mountains and green pasture. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. Host was responsive to all my questions. Loved that each kid got their own bed. There were super soft blankets throughout which my wife loved. We brought binocculars and loved all the views from every window. This was our first time to Walden. We would definitely return to this rental.

Walden moose watching
We had a great time in Walden, saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed great meals at the River Rock cafe. The local folks are great and the view from the property is breathtaking. So pretty! The only issue we had was the WiFi was unstable and we couldn’t watch tv during our downtime. That could use some work, but we weren’t there to watch tv. Great place to stay. We would do it again.

Clean and close to Bluebird Resort
Clean home with easy access to Bluebird Resort(~30 min) and that was in bad weather. Good space to share for skiing and kitchen well stocked to cook. Not a ton of options in Walden to eat out but we brought stuff to cook so it wasn’t an issue. There’s a decent pizza place in town though. Internet was spotty for us so I wouldn’t plan on working remote or would at least check with the owner if you need dependable internet. Overall- great place to stay and would definitely recommend!
