Absolutely amazing host, house, and experience! Irene was very communicative, the house was clean, easy to get to, and they have literally everything you could ever want or need for your stay!

The host was fantastic. Very responsive during the reservation process and during our stay. The home is EXTREMELY clean and there are instructions and guides to help you in the home. The home is on a dead end street. So think quiet and relaxing. The house has a gym, incredible coffee and espresso maker, slushee maker and foot massager. The kitchen is better stocked with kitchen cooking ware and tools than my home. We made omelettes with the fresh chicken eggs! Much better than the Quality Inn free breakfast. We did not use the hottub or outdoor fire out, but the set up was nice and all looked in good condition. We just did not have enough time.And the chickens are a joy. We had fun just watching them run around in their coop. I highly recommend the Homestead. You won’t be let down.

We had a fantastic trip. The owner is so thoughtful and put so much detail and care into the property and thought of everything but you could possibly need or want in a vacation rental. We will definitely be back again. It was truly egg-cellent!

The hosts were absolutely wonderful. We held our wedding here yesterday, and they did everything they could to make it as special as possible. Our big day was entirely perfect and the home, yard, amenities, and our lovely hosts made it possible! It is a gorgeous place to stay (or get married!) run by amazing, accommodating hosts.

Beautiful Property / Great Location

This property was beautiful and tranquil. It was centrally located and had easy access to stores and major roads. Inside the home was well beautifully decorated and well appointed. All the amenities we need for a weeks stay was available in the house. I enjoyed the coffee bar. My kids really enjoyed taking care of the chickens and checking for eggs daily. Our host was very responsive and provided timely communications. This made for a memorable visit and exceeded our expectations. We plan on returning for another stay early next year.

Five Stars for Hudson Homestead

Our family’s stay at the Hudson Homestead exceeded all expectations! We booked a weekend getaway to celebrate our son’s 12th birthday and spend time at Fantasy Lake Adventure Park, and we couldn’t have picked a better home. The house was spotless, incredibly cozy, and charmingly decorated with thoughtful touches throughout. The hosts even left a few surprises for us, which we truly appreciated - it made the experience feel that much more special.One of our favorite perks was the fresh eggs from the chickens each morning. Our dogs also had the best time running freely around the fenced in spacious backyard, which was perfect while we relaxed.After a full day of activity at the Adventure Park, relaxing in the hot tub under the warm glow of the outdoor lights was exactly what we needed. It was the perfect way to unwind and end the evening. My youngest even told us that this was his “favorite vacation house ever."We’re already hoping to make this an annual tradition, and if we do, there’s no doubt we’ll be staying at the Hudson Homestead again!
