Stayed for 2 nights in January. Beautiful location, beautiful home. Incredible views of Sugarbush. Hot tub is large and heats up quickly. Laura is responsive and available for any issues/questions. The driveway is very steep but with good tires and AWD it’s manageable. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for winter or summer getaway

House and property were exactly as advertised. Access was easy. Although it was clear that this was someones home (2nd home most likely), everything was clearly marked. Everything that you might need kitchen wise, bathroom wise, pool, bedding, games, etc was available. It felt like home. We had a ball and were very relaxed.

Beautiful house in a beautiful spot

This house was wonderful. Our party of six had plenty of space to stretch out and also areas to gather. A particular highlight was the Jacuzzi, which was beautiful and easy to access. Another phenomenal amenity is the large fireplace connected to both the dining area and living room. We will definitely be coming back here in the future.

A long weekend in Waitsfield Vermont

This property is amazing. Clean, organized details in their notes, etc. the hosts get right back to you and so nice to deal with. We had a great family weekend with our son who attends Norwich University. We will be booking this property in the future for sure. Thank you again for a memorable weekend!

Fabulous place for a large family gathering

We loved it! Great location, close to the quaint town of Waitsfield. If you’re lucky with the weather and you have kids- amazing sledding hill! (We did insist the kids wear their ski helmets as it was long and FAST). Kitchen well supplied. The hosts were always helpful and responsive.

Awesome Ski Escape

Loved our stay! Located about 10 mins to Sugarbush and Mad River Glen. Hot Tub was very nice to use for apres ski. Definitely make sure you have a 4WD car to get up the driveway - it’s very steep and icy in the winter

Great weekend in Vermont

Great house, in an awesome location for a ski weekend at Sugarbush House was well equipped (especially the kitchen) and my family really enjoyed the property and the views. Would highly recommend for a family getaway in the Waitsfield area.

Beautiful Vermont

This is a great house with everything you need to enjoy the Mad River Valley. Waitsfield and Warren are charming towns with little shops, restaurants, and a fantastic farmer’s market. The surrounding area is beautiful. There is plenty to do outdoors for families, or just relax on the porch and take it the view.

Girls Retreat Week

This home is exactly as described, and well maintained and clean. The owners and property manager are attentive and respond almost immediately to questions. We were a group of 7 but plenty of sleeping, dining and lounging options for a larger party. We would definitely choose this property again if staying in this area! Thank you!

A beautiful home and beautiful grounds

Laura and Mike were terrific and gracious hosts; everything was as advertised with towels, linens, basic kitchen amenities, hot tub, and pool at the ready. The grounds are immaculate, and the accommodations are spacious. We will definitely come again.

Mid September 2022 Rental

Our large family stayed at this rental for two nights. We were attending a nephews wedding in Waitsfield, VT. Because we have so many children, and we were able to bring our dogs for a small fee, this was a great property. The house is large and very clean. We were unable to use the pool as it was closed already, but we didn't have time anyways so we didn't mind. There was plenty of space for everyone. We had a pizza party the night before the wedding with family who came in from up and down the east coast. It was amazing and room for everyone. Plenty of parking, two of my kids brought up their own cars. The owners were super friendly, via email and txt. Always answered promptly anytime I had a question. If we were up that way again and needed a place to stay, we would definitely rent this again.

Great ski stay!

We had a great stay at this property! The house is close to Waitsfield and about 20 minutes from Sugarbush Mountain. The house is well equipped in the kitchen, and a hot tub was a plus. The house is also on a very quiet road, which we appreciated very much so. Communication with the owner was the best of any one I’ve ever encountered. The only thing I mention is that the owner said to have all wheel drive or snow tires in the winter, and I would 100% agree with that. It’s a steep climb. Overall a great stay and we’d totally do it again!!

Perfect Stay

The property was absolutely perfect. This trip was geared towards snowboarding and the home was about 15 minutes from Sugarbush. Communication with Laura was easy and fast. The ample parking was great for the cars who didn’t have 4wd to get up the driveway. The house was clean and well stocked with all of the necessities. I highly recommend this property!

Perfect stay for a ski group!

My friends and I throughly enjoyed our stay at the Raphael Road House! It was more than spacious for our group, very clean and had all the supplies and amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The hot tub and fire pit were an added bonus! Laura was accommodating and communicative throughout our stay. We would definitely rent here again and would highly recommend it to anyone else looking for an enjoyable ski getaway!
