"Beautifully located in Rawene overlooking the harbour. Loved our stay. The downstairs self contained unit was well set out, very clean with everything we needed. The little deck outside provided beautiful views while eating El Fresco. Very private, the owners were warm and friendly while leaving us to enjoy our break. Would definitely go back again.😊💕"

"The setting is north-facing, to bush and a rocky-bedded stream. Apart from the occasional sound from some friendly animal, you hear burbling water and wind in the trees. Inside everything is ‘proper’ and well maintained. The fire has copious supplies of dry wood replenished daily, from trees on the property. The couches are comfy and the kitchen is well-appointed. "Lovely place to stay, amazing views of the hokianga harbour, fantastic sunsets, great area, friendly locals, the place had everything we needed, we were all comfortable, unable to connect to wifi or get freeview going, but the property manager refunded us some money towards personal data. Only downfall for us, was that even though the property is pet friendly, its not fenced so we couldnt allow our fur baby to freely be outside and just relax, with the main road just below a worry, however great...
