"It was a great little getaway, and we could imagine in summer it would be even nicer being able to enjoy the outdoor picnic spots by the pond. We had thought that our 4 were going to have a bedroom each, as per the BookaBach description of the property. Two guys had to share a room.The owners were a delightful, very helpful Chinese couple, who made us welcome and accommodated our Ebikes in their garage to recharge. "

"Super well stocked off grid cabin, overlooking a valley. Hammocks and bbq on deck with lots of cooking supplies. Cabin is beautifully decorated with books and games. Trails down to the river and a beautiful look out spot! Sunset - gorgeous! Really loved it! Host warm and friendly and has a home close by. One of my favorite stays on the South Island! "

"In the cover photo is looks like the hut is secluded, but the owners house is just out of the image. No problem for me, but people that were seeking seclusion may not realize this.In the kitchen I couldn't wash some of the dishes easily because of the dish brush.
