I liked it all and the listing speaks for itself. The host, Rohan, was great. I had questions along the way leading up to my stay and they were answered almost immediately. Once arriving, the host contacted us to make sure that everything was good and to give a couple tips. Rohan is a great communicator. The unit was exceptionally clean, modern, and well provisioned (not food but kitchen utensils). For us, the location was very good. It’s located on Ma’alaea Bay just a few hundred feet from Ma’alaea Harbor. It is a good location to begin your adventures to anywhere on the island. It was very quiet and much less crowded than some of the other popular tourist destinations on Maui. From our balcony you could whales off in the distance (hence the binoculars provided in the condo) and we saw turtles swimming right off the seawall. There are stairs leading down to the water where we saw snorklers enter the water. Just down the road (maybe 1/4 mile) there is a small parking lot that has access to a beautiful beach that goes on for a long way. When I visit Maui again, I will be sure to check on this property. The entire package gets an A in my opinion.

Lovely

Quiet area. Lots of turtles near the shore to observe. Even saw monk seals. Good snorkeling. Short walk to beach, harbor, restaurants, and Maui Ocean Center. Good central location to do day trips to other areas.

It Doesn’t Get Better Than This

If I could give six stars I would. The location is phenomenal - we saw sea turtles in the ocean from the balcony! I spent so much time on that balcony, it was shaded in the afternoon and had a great reclining lounge chair. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen so well stocked. The location is quiet and so convenient to access the rest of the island from. I will definitely stay here again next time we make it to Maui!!

Hawaii getaway

Amazing view off the balcony. Nicely decorated. Very clean. Great kitchen with all the necessary pots pans, etc.Pool was nice and clean. Friendly neighbors. Fun to see turtles right next to the condo in the water. Good location to get around the island. Golfing was excellent. Road to Hana a bit scary to drive but well worth it. Would definitely recommend this place. Would come here again.

Maui Magic

This VRBO was well appointed and in a great location. Our host Rohan called the first night and checked in with us. We wanted quiet and this was the place. It was a short walk to the Marina which we scheduled a Whale Watching Tour. This place had everything we needed. The sunsets were Magical. We were able to see whales breaching in the Bay one day and saw turtles everyday by the shore.

Quiet condo in Maui

The condo was spacious and as described. It is in a very quiet community. The beds were a little hard for my family but we were exhausted fromdays of exploring. The condo is perfectly located for whale watching from the balcony or on a commercial tour. The pool area was very clean and never busy. The kitchen has everything you need to be able to cook some or all of your meals. The owner had beach chairs and umbrella which was very helpful!

Return to paradise

A beautiful and well stocked condo with everything from beach to cooking was available and a view to die for. The only one complaint was the back bedroom’s mattress was very uncomfortable. The grounds and building is very well maintained by Ivan “Batman “who has much pride in his duties and always helpful with any inquiries. It was another enjoyable 6 weeks in apt.208 we will be back for a third time. Thanks ,Karen and Seon

Wonderful vacation.

The condo was perfect. It had everything we needed as listed in the description online plus more. Rohan, the host, called shortly after we arrived welcoming us! He asked if we needed anything and gave us his number to contact him if we did need anything. The location was great.and easy to get to. We saw sea turtles along our sea wall every day!! We had a great stay and would definitely stay there again if we return!

Great stay in Ma’alaea

Great location central to everything on the island. Very well equipped and comfortable. Fantastic view from the balcony with lots of turtles and rays paddling by throughout the day. Not to be missed!

Stay on Maui

This is our second stay in this unit and everything was just as good as the first. Rohan checks on you when you arrive. The condo is clean, beautifully updated, and located in a quiet area with quick access to the rest of the island. We love watching the waves roll in across the bay and seeing the sea turtles feed along the seawall. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfection in the perfect location!

In 20+ years of staying in short-term rentals, this may have been the very best. The location is convenient to the entire island and being waterfront can't be beat. The condo is beautifully decorated, well stocked, completely comfortable in every way - so much so that it would have been very enjoyable just to stay in. Just a short walk to the beach, the harbor, and great restaurants. Hope to have the opportunity to return.

Sea turtles and ocean waves

Highlight was definitely the ocean view & sounds from the balcony and seeing dozens of sea turtles every day. Walking distance to a beach and Harbor with a few stores and restaurants. Pretty quiet which we liked. Condo was nice for the 3 of us. Everything we needed was there. We never saw the property manager, but we had good info from owner and a resident so it didn’t matter.

Lauloa at Maalaea

Our fav building in the Maalaea complex! This unit has everything and tasteful upgraded furniture so that it’s very comfortable and the view is amazing. Only downside for us (3 80 year olds) was the firmness of the beds. Very firm!
