Perfect

This little condo was just perfect. The view was incredible with the sound of ocean always there to relax you. The town is the perfect “middle” spot on the island, so you can explore more without traveling so far. We will definitely stay here again.

Fabulous Location

We loved staying here. The views of the bay and Haleakala are out of this world. The condo is exactly as described and was perfect for the 2 of us. The only nit being the shower is tired and dated but I believe they plan to update it soon. Barbara was an excellent host and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. Finally the Milowai grounds and pool are lovely.

Excellent Experience

Such an amazing property and stay! Just perfect for my husband and I. The check in process was seamless and all the details Barbara sent were much appreciated! We loved our mornings on the lanai and watching the whales!

Relaxing, Duh!

Love the quiet location away from the hustle and bustle. Lots to see within walking distance including the aquarium, restaurants, gas station and shops. Witnessed the beauty of whales breaching and splashing in the bay. No need to pay for a whale excursion when we stayed. Pool and grassy area lovely and clean. Have fun!

Nice condo with beautiful view of the ocean

We visited the island for a week and found the location to be very good. We came in a time when it was very windy, but still enjoyed walking the property and seeing the turtles.

Quiet Getaway

The property is quiet and clean. We watched the sea turtles right from the balcony. The location sits between 2 main towns. If you are looking to stay in the middle of the action, this is not the place for you. No excitement or things to do, just quiet! The only negative is the parking spot. The parking is very tight. I had to be let out, in order to get the car in the spot. I would choose a location with more to do, if I go back.

A Truly Wonderful Vacation

We enjoyed our stay in this condo very much. We were in Maui for a month and the location was perfect. Sugar Beach is an excellent morning walk, very central location , nicely furnished and tidy, the condo was well stocked both in the kitchen and with beach stuff , the bed was super comfortable and the view from the lanai was amazing; Whales, sunrise over Haleakala , turtles and rainbows. The pool is heated which was great. Barbara was excellent in keeping us informed on what was happening regarding maintenance issues and came and introduced herself the second day we arrived. My only recommendation would be a deep cleaning and a little TLC to make it sparkle. However, we would definitely stay here again as we thoroughly enjoyed this home away from home! Mahalo

Relaxing week in Maui

Had a great week here in Maui. Walked sugar beach to Kihei (great morning walk) several times. Tons of turtles directly in front of property (watch for high tide) and even saw a few whales during our week. Condo is in good location to access all parts of the island.

Amazing. Don’t ever miss.

One of best condos we have ever stayed in the island so far. The check-in process was so so easy and the property manager was always there to help. We really liked the foldable bed in the living room facing the sea. One of a kind experience. Also the condo has washer and dryer inside. Such a GEM in an awesome location. Will definitely come back.

Birthday vacation

The condo was perfect for my wife and I for her birthday. Third floor with balcony super close to the ocean. Nice little kitchen worked out great for some cooking time save on $$. Upon arrival, Condo was not cleaned after last family left. Someone dropped the ball on that so my wife and I cleaned up. Emailed owner and who didn’t respond for a couple days after sending several other emails/texts. Got hold of maintenance point of contact and they sent over a cleaning lady but we had pretty much finished ourselves when she arrived. Owner finally acknowledged receipt of my emails and her displeasure with the cleaning crew but didn’t offer and reimbursement for cleaning deposit or apologies to us. Bed was comfortable but had a “low spot” in middle of mattress that gave my wife back pain. Sleeping on the “ends” gave a much better sleep. Other than these issues, She has a great place to vacation.

Great location for travelling the island!

Great central location for trips all over the island. We loved visiting the touristy towns and then retreating to our quiet home each night. Great communication with Barbara. Amazing views! The AC was great to cool down after a hot day. Really appreciated the cooler, boards and beach chairs. Definitely recommend!

Perfect condo with the most amazing view. Super close to the water. We liked this location being away from all of the craziness of the west coast. Super windy in this spot, but we liked it bc we didn’t need to use the AC. Definitely will be back.

Location is perfect!

If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway, then this is the place for you! Barbara is always wonderful to work with! Air conditioner in the bedroom is very welcome! Condo is in need of updating which detracted from our overall comfort level. However, you can’t beat the location away from the busy crowds!

Terrible communication. Actual spot is beautiful

We got an email from Barbara about a month before we left saying we wouldn’t be able to stay in this property due to being double booked. We were then offered an upgrade in the same building (score!) When we arrived at 10pm we showed up at the condo and to our surprise it was NEITHER of the two condos and something not up to our standards. When we finally got a hold of barb she informed us that we would have to stay there for TWO nights. Vacation= ruined. We were finally moved to the promised spot but so so disappointed. Still waiting for a refund. Will never deal with this property owner again.
