Beautiful home!!! It was perfect for our family to relax & play. The home was stocked with everything you could ever need and we enjoyed the goodies on the counter. Can't wait to go back!

We had a great experience with our stay! We thourghouly enjoyed the beautiful views from the screened in porch and spacious living areas. The host provided many everyday essentials that were greatly appreciated. It was a great place for us and all of our friends enjoy a weekend getaway. We will be back again!!

Amazing Vacation Spot

The pictures do not do this place justice! Our stay was better than we expected. Having a private beach with river access was the cherry on top of an amazing house. There is plenty of space for large families and a porch to hang out on at all hours. Mary, the host, is responsive and very easy to work with. The views from the hilltop are spectacular. We would highly recommend staying here.

The peace and quiet we needed.....

Our family needed a place to gather, decompress, and enjoy one another's company. This was the home to do just that! Beautiful, spacious, and so many thoughtful extras. A lovely stay for all.

Great vacation rental

House was beautiful with many amenities. Host was very helpful and nice. House had everything we needed and more. We would definitely rent this house again.

Great Family Location

Our family loved this location. Great home and great location. Perfect for a family gathering and for people of all ages. We had the relaxation of the home and a great spot down by the river. The home had many extra food goodies that were great. We would recommend this location.

Everything about this house was set up perfectly. It felt like one of our own fully stocked houses, we had everything we needed and more! Plenty of options to cook your food and enjoy a spectacular view while you do it! Would definitely book again!

Our time at the Hilltop Haven was perfect. Everything was clean and wellstocked. They had every amenity we could have ever wanted. The hosts were communicative and helpful. The river was glorious!!!

We had a great time staying at "The Bunker" for an early Thanksgiving with our family. We enjoyed the beautiful views and weather! We spent a lot of time in the screened in outdoor area and around the fireplace. The home is equipped with anything you would need to cook a great meal. It was also super clean. We would highly recommend staying at "The Bunker".

End of summer staycation

We had an amazing time relaxing with family before school starts. The house had everything! It was very inviting and we felt right at home. Our kids loved the farm toys and the garage game room. Thank you for sharing your special space with us!

Great place to stay, you will not be disappointed!!

The bunker is incredible. Had a great time. It was beautiful, comfortable, lots of room and luxuries available, fantastic view, quiet, relaxing, supplies to no end. All was wonderful. This was superior, rated a 10!!. Will have to come back and stay longer since our stay was very short.

The house was very well kept and fully stocked of everything you would need! Several different options to cook your food whether it’s on a grill, smoker, or blackstone. Absolutely stunning views from haven hill, I can’t wait to get back for another stay. Also they provided all the firewood for outdoor fires!

Unforgettable Memory

The family story behind this home and property will pull you right into this experience. The hospitality is second to none! If you want to bring together your family and completely disconnect this is the place for you! Access to the river is amazing. Wish we could have had a week to play more.

Fantastic

We had 4 families (13 people) come together for our stay in Wagner. The history and unique story of this home was such an added bonus! We loved the “bunker” and ALL the extra added touches! We experienced a blizzard during our stay. Mary and her crew were incredibly accommodating and a pleasure to work with. We are hoping to return in the summer and experience the river and all it has to offer as well!

Most wonderful stay!

The house was over the top perfect for our family. It was spacious, everyone had their own space when they needed it. The kitchen/dining area was large enough for everyone to be in the kitchen at the same time helping cook. The property is near a river and the hike there and back was just what we needed for a workout. Golf cart was available to quick trips to the river. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. Already have reservations for next year

Beautiful Getaway

There were ten in our party, ranging from 10 yrs old to 55 yrs old. Everyone had a great time. We brought our side by side and 4 wheeler along and it was nice that we did as the water is about a mile away from the house. The golf cart provided was a big help also because of the size of our group. The house is fabulous with everything anyone would possibly need! So much room to spread out! Loved it!

Fantastic Place!

Great place for our family to stay! Large enough that every could have their own space. Tons of updates and personal touches! The kids loved the game room garage. We loved time on the porch and also watching a couple of eagles. Water is only a golf cart ride away. Yard by the house is not huge but grass area by the water access/beach house is! We also loved all of the family and house history details connected with the house. (My favorite part) Thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend and will book again! Thank you!😊

Beautiful home and countryside!

We had a group of 13 and never felt cramped or crowded. The attention to detail is impeccable and there was nothing you couldn't find if you needed it. It was stocked with an abundance of things and extras in case you run out. The only thing you need to bring is your clothes, food and personal toiletries. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves whether it was sitting on the porch taking in the view and fresh air, conversating in the dining/kitchen area, watching a movie in the family room, playing a game of Horse/Ladderball/Cornhole outside, playing ping pong/foosball in the garage area, taking a nap, fishing down at the river, cooking or a multitude of other activities. We even had a little friendly, family competition and had a family "Olympics" with the outside games. We recently lost my brother in law on September 10 due to a long battle with cancer and this is just what we needed as a family to unwind and take in God's blessings after dealing with such a huge tragedy in our family. We unplugged and engaged. We were so impressed that we booked it for a week in August. Thank you so much for opening your home to our family. We are forever grateful.
