Visit Magnolia Silos

The Clay house is just a five minute walk from the Silos and many other shops. Short drives for the other shops and places to eat. Quiet neighborhood. Really enjoyed relaxing here! It was a much needed getaway!

The Clay House

House met our expectations. Lovely decor and very clean. Walking distance was perfect for Magnolia and tours. Safe neighborhood. My only recommendations would be to provide hooks in bedroom for clothes and hooks in the bathroom for towels. Also a covering for the window over the bed would be a plus.

Very nice little house. Perfect accomodations for our short visit to Waco. Good location for walking to the Magnolia area. However, bad location for loud music on Friday night coming from the Backyard bar ~200 yards from the house. Mostly good. But we're too old for loud music at night

Just Perfect!

A short walk to everything worth visiting in Waco. Adorable set-up, kitchen, master bedroom and living room. Clean, updated amenities, great closed in backyard. Thank you for hosting us and our little fur babies. It was the perfect birthday getaway!

Everything was great about this place except the neighbor’s light shines in the master bedroom all night long. And there is no window covering for that window. Bring your eye mask. Otherwise great location and well appointed.

Incredibly convenient to Magnolia!

This small but cozy house was just the right size for a short stay. We selected the home due to its close proximity to Magnolia & was not disappointed - it's literally a short walk over. We also walked around downtown Waco from the property & felt very safe. I didn't pay close enough attention to what's available in the kitchen though - no stove, cooktop or toaster so preparing a decent meal there was tough but there is a gas grill out back so we got creative! It was nice to have a washer/dryer since we arrived in Waco after already visiting Austin.

My husband and I decided to stay a night in Waco during our trip to Texas and this quaint little home was available for us. It’s decorated super cute and the host was very accommodating. A quick walk to the silo district, wish we could have stayed longer!!!!

Enjoyable Stay

we stayed here one night & had a comfortable experience. We woke up with the sunrise, as the uncovered window above the bed brought the sunlight in early. All but the bedside lights in this home are daylight bulbs (5000k or so) and didn't allow for much nighttime ambiance. We were able to check in a couple hours early, and had a warm welcome once we got in. Very easy check in/out process, 100% recommended for a couple or small family.

Clay House stay August 2023

Just returned from Waco visit. Clay house was just as described. Very close to Magnolia Market, Dr Pepper Museum and downtown Waco. All within walking distance. Would highly recommend Clay House stay if looking for small updated quaint house. Had plenty of room for 2 of us. Amenities were perfect for our short stay(3 days).

Perfect spot!

I was in Waco for a conference. The house was just 5 minutes from the convention center and close to everything downtown or along the freeway. It was a great location. Very comfortable for 1-2 people or, like me, 1 and a dog. The backyard was great for him. Would definitely stay there again if I find myself in Waco.

Cute little home

We enjoyed our stay at Clay House to celebrate my moms birthday with her 2 daughters at Magnolia. We loved to be able to walk and enjoy Magnolia and the Silos area. Pictures are outdated and we thought there was a kerig coffee machine. However, coffee was provided in the kitchen! Thanks for this option. We ended up walking to Magnolia Press each morning for coffee instead. It was only a few blocks away and so good! Future guests… Bring hair conditioner if you like separate conditioner for washing your hair. This was not available at the property. Thankfully my sis packed some! Home was clean and has the old feeling of a fixer upper with some unleveled floors and finishings. Decorates cute and has a nice touch! Conveniently located by the Silos! Huge bonus and if you love music…the Backyard bar is near by. We heard cover bands playing every night and enjoyed it. We were able to fall asleep without issues from the noise.
