This was the cutest lil hideaway and our hostess Ann was top-knotch! She gave wonderful suggestions for dining, and the staff that welcomed us into their establishments were such a pleasure to meet! Thank you to the VFW for their kind and warm welcome as we enjoyed the meat raffle. The Silver Star had great burritos, and put the Timberwolves game on for us. Herb and Arrow had a fabulous panini and flatbread. We ended our visit at the BBQ joint in Nelson WI. It was a great get-away!!

We had a wonderful stay at Ann’s condo in Wabasha. It was perfect for a couple’s weekend getaway. Ann was one of the most responsive hosts we’ve ever had—any time we had a question, she replied almost immediately and provided great local recommendations.There isn’t a lot happening in Wabasha in March, but that was exactly what we were looking for: a quiet, relaxing weekend. We’d definitely love to come back and rent this place again in the summer when things are a little more lively.Definite 5 Star experience.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Sofia Suite in the Grumpy Old Men Condo. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the unbeatable location right in the heart of downtown Wabasha. Everything is truly just steps away — fantastic local restaurants, the fascinating National Eagle Center, and the beautiful Mississippi River waterfront. It made exploring the area effortless and so enjoyable.The suite itself is cozy, quiet, and perfectly set up for a romantic getaway. After a day of sightseeing, soaking in the jacuzzi tub while streaming our favorite show was pure relaxation. The space is thoughtfully arranged, clean, and inviting — it felt like a private retreat in the middle of town.We also appreciated how convenient it was to nearby attractions like Coffee Mill Ski Area and the local marinas, making it a great spot year-round whether you're skiing, boating, or simply enjoying the river views.One thing to note is the flight of stairs to the second floor, but it’s a small trade-off for such a charming and peaceful space.Another huge plus: the pricing is completely transparent. No hidden fees — just straightforward, honest rates, which we truly appreciated.If you’re looking for a relaxing, romantic, and perfectly located place to stay in Wabasha, the Sofia Suite is a gem. We can’t wait to come back!

Our stay was fantastic! The place was very comfortable (the bed especially!) and was in the perfect location. Wabasha is such a quiet and quaint community filled with very friendly people…even the neighbors in the building welcomed me and hoped our stay was perfect. Our host recommended various places to eat and hints on how to get free treats (that was fun!) I would definitely love to come back to this nice little town- and definitely would consider staying here again!

Very nice space. Well stocked kitchen. Clean. Secure building. Nice location. Had some difficulty with smart tv and internet but hard to know what contributed to that. Hot tub/bath was nice. Owner was very responsive to any questions. Would recommend.

Last minute trip to Grumpy Fest

We decided on Wednesday night to go to Grumpy fest. I didn't want to stay in the hotel if possible wanted to be closer to Downtown. Checked vrbo and this was available. It was great, within walking distance of all the activities. Great condo and we even met some of . the neighbors

Cozy Weekend Getaway

My wife and I chose this cute condo for our romantic Valentine’s day getaway weekend in Wabasha.The location is great; right downtown on main street between the Mississippi bridge overpass and the Eagle Center. Everything we needed was easy walking distance including an Irish pub right across the street and two other restaurants just a few steps down the street.The unit, which looks to be recently refurbished, is a 2nd floor condo above a mainstreet storefront with a hot tub and gas fireplace in the living room, a well stocked kitchen area, and a cozy bedroom alcove. It was quiet and clean, and the hosts were very responsive.Made for a great romantic getaway weekend!

Lovely, Quiet time away

Had a wonderful weekend away at this well-kept, lovely little apartment in Wabasha. My wife commented that the bed was one of the comfiest bed she's slept on in her travels. Overall, we enjoyed our time, and we even got to meet the neighbor cat who helped himself to our room on our arrival! (He was fine with being carried out.) We'll definitely try to stay here again in the future.
