Sheena's cabin in the heart of Hammer Bakker

Like something out of a fairy tale. That's the feeling that greets you in Sheena's cottage and the old studio. The well-maintained timber-framed houses with heavy thatched roofs are full of history and detail to explore.



Inside, the houses have been renovated in modern style with everything you need for a lovely holiday. Curl up on the sofa with a hot cup of coffee and spend a slow afternoon with a good book under the exposed beams, occasionally raising your gaze to the green bounty outside. Or soak in the hot water of the bath, your body aching after a day in the great outdoors. In the studio you can enjoy the special atmosphere under the vaulted ceilings, which bear witness to the history and culture of the place.



The cottages are located in the rich nature of Hammer Bakkers, surrounded by wildlife, hiking trails and high skies. Go in search of burial mounds and old forest dykes, or take a trip to Pebermosen. You can also climb Tinghøj, the highest point on the hills. If you spend your time at the house, soak up the sun on the south-facing terrace and round off the day in the barrel sauna or by the fireplace before retiring under the thatched roof.
