Fun, family-friendly place. We had a wonderful stay (2 adults, one elementary school kiddo). Hosts were very responsive. Heated spa and pool were a blast. Beautiful sunsets. Well stocked kitchen ware and utensils, near grocery stores. You will need a car for this location.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The house was perfect for our family, especially with the added safety features for the pool area. We loved spending time together, swimming and cooking on the great grill. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked, which was a huge plus for my son, who loves to cook. The beautiful outdoor space with a pool, spa, and fire pit was a favorite spot for everyone. The owners were helpful when checking in. We would highly recommend this house and would definitely stay there again!

Family trip to San Diego

We had a great family trip to San Diego! We had a group of all ages from 11. Check in was easy. Host was there to help us with use of the spa equipment.Everyone had a wonderful time in the spa/pool. House was clean and welcoming. Kids loved the game room/pool table. Kitchen had everything we needed.Beds were comfy. Close to stores and restaurants. We had a lovely stay!

Comfortable stay with great pool

The home was very clean and featured attractive landscaping. The pool was well-maintained and provided a relaxing retreat each day—definitely a highlight of our stay. While heating the pool came at a high cost, it was essential given the time of year. The surrounding neighborhood could use some upkeep, but it was quiet and peaceful throughout our visit. Overall, we had an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

Family Time

Casa De Norte and hosts,Jess and Justin, exceeded our expectations. We were in San Diego to celebrate a 13th birthday with sun, baseball, and adult decompression time. Casa De Norte accomplished all of that. Everyone slept well in comfy beds. Meals were easy to prepare in the well equipped kitchen. We made family memories in the pool and at the pool table. Morning sunrise and evening sunset views from the living room and outdoor space were medicine for the soul! Jess and Justin, thank you for your perfect balance of availability and privacy.

Perfect get away

The house, although a little dated was well equipped for a great family vacation. Our grandkids loved the pool. The house is located close to Walmart, Target and Stater Bros making groceries easy to pick up. Jessica and Justin were quick to help with a couple of questions. Visiting Family In Escondido

I stayed here with my wife, mom, aunt, and 2 year old son. The layout of the home was really great for my family, and the safety alarms on the doors were super helpful for my young child. The rooms were comfortable and clean, overall a success. The pool was expensive to heat (we stayed in October) but it was really lovely. Views from the deck were great, an awesome outside hangout. We stocked up on bottled water and foods. There are some random leftovers from prior guests. It was convenient to where we were visiting family members, but was an expensive stay.

Great place to relax!

Stayed at the property while our daughter recovered from surgery. The pool area and sunroom are great places to relax as a family and we felt very at home during the stay. The owners were very easy to communicate with and even dropped by to give us the lighter for the fire pit after we could not locate one in the house.

Nice getaway

Great place to escape the Phoenix heat. Very clean. Had everything we needed. Pool was great. Our only complaint was the nest thermostat. We like it cool and it kept resetting to a temp that was too hot us. Overall excellent place. We would definitely book again.

The perfect place for us to relax and explore

We stayed here for 4 nights. It was really clean and in wonderful shape. You can tell that our hosts thought of everything they could to make our stay enjoyable, from an easy check-in process, to a video on how to use the spa, to a roku for streaming movies on the tv. We had 4 adults, 2 of which were over 70. We had 3 kids that were 3, 5, and 7. Our stay wasn't during the warmest week, so we did pay to add-on the heated pool which worked great. The pool was a little deeper than I expected, but our kids can swim pretty well so it wasn't a problem. We ended up spending a couple days in the pool and venturing out to San Diego on one of the days—which was just a short drive away. I'd definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to relax outside and visit surrounding venues.

Attentive owners and beautiful home

Our family trip started poorly with sick kids which happened to run through the family. The owners of the home were very attentive and accommodating and allowed for early check in, due to one child having gotten sick on the plane ride. The owners live next door so they also dropped off supplies such as soup, pedialyte, etc. to help! The owners were also VERY helpful and went over the top again when my husband forgot an important backpack on the property and the owner personally helped ensure the backpack was picked up by an Uber on our last day to be delivered at the airport with us. On to the house. We vacationed with my family of 5, my parents, and my brother and we felt the layout worked perfectly for our group. We very much enjoyed the pool and the hot tub! We were worried that the deep pool would be too cold in March to swim but it was quite nice and the kids spent every day in it! We would definitely rent this home again if we find ourselves in the area!

Hidden Gem

We stayed for five days to take our grands to SD for spring break. Check in was so easy and Justin, owner, was readily available when needed. Although he lives next door we never felt ‘spied’ on and were very comfortable in the house. The pool and spa were wonderful, the view at any time of the day/night was fantastic. There are so many outside areas to enjoy with patio doors all around the house! Beds are comfortable, pool table was great and we played almost every evening with the grands. I can’t say enough about how wonderful this home was for us. The location is about 30-40 minutes from SD entertainment which was fine for us especially being able to return to the spa, pool, etc. We hope to stay again on our next trip! Thank you Justin for your hospitality and providing this great home to stay in.
