"The apartment was exactly as listed. We found it to be the perfect place to stay for our visit to the New River Gorge. Very quiet, very clean without the use of scents. We are sensitive to fabric softeners and other similar products. The couch and king-size mattress were very comfortable after a long day of hiking.Would stay again."

"I loved everything about this home! It was spacious enough for the 5 of us. The hosts provided everything and more: towels and linen, soap and shampoo, coffee, small cooking essentials such as nonstick spray, oil, salt & pepper, family games, travel and tourist information. It was all there! And I particularly loved the history of the home that was evident everywhere. What a gem. "

"Myla was such a wonderful hostess. She shared cucumbers from her garden with us. This place was like a home away from home. Cozy and had everything you need. We stayed here 5 nights. My dog loved trying to hunt the squirrels. And the flowers smelled amazing when you stepped outside every morning. I highly recommend staying here. "

"Our 3 kids, my wife, and I spent our 3 days together here while we visited around New River Gorge National Park. We enjoyed it. This property is in a great location. If you are visiting the New River Gorge National Park with family, then it is great. "

"Our family stayed here for a week and loved it. Tatiana was a great host, and she very graciously allowed our younger children to take a tour of her small farm, and feed/pet the animals. The owners lived close by and are there if you need them, but also give you space. The property is full of all kinds of creatures, sheep, pigs, rabbits, deer, ducks, and feels like a Peter Rabbit storybook. "The property is located right across from Hawks Nest State Park. The neighborhood is quiet. You can sit on the front porch or out back on the patio or up by the fire pit. We saw deer, birds and heard a fox at night. The house is clean, comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped. The beds are very comfortable. Great drawer and closet space too! "My husband and I attended a birthday party on Lover's Lane. Chase Cottage was a beautiful alternative for us to be able to enjoy a very local experience while having easy access to all the nearby region holds. We definitely plan to stay there again! "

"This was perfect! Set back away from the main house right by the river. We had the most amazing firefly show along with the Strawberry Moon while in the hot tub!"

"We needed a dog friendly place to base our New River Gorge trip and this fit the bill. Plenty of room and everything went smoothly. No dishwasher so you'll have to hand wash any dishes you use but that's not a huge issue. The window unit air conditioners worked well enough we were quite comfortable.I would add that you are parking in front of the left hand garage door but you are staying in the main house. The keypad is on the back sun room door. "
