Beautiful condo and location however the condo is in need of some TLC. The front room carpets need replacing and the bathrooms were not very clean. There was a sewage smell when we arrived and it took about a day to air it out. But really with a better cleaning job the place would be amazing. Also the gym was closed for repairs and the few days it was opened we were not given a pass.

Very nice beachside condo

Overall had a great stay. The condo was very nice and clean. It actually looks bigger in person than in the pictures. The only (minor) con was I would recommend bringing your own streaming stick because one of the tvs doesn't have streaming capabilities. Otherwise it was a really nice and well stocked place to stay. I would stay again, our family had a great time.

Beach Getaway

Lovely beach themed condo. Lots of room for 4 adults and one child. Kitchen is well stocked. Beds are comfortable. Blackout curtains would help with pool side security lights. Market is nearby. Beach access is across the street. Enjoyed our vacation there.

Lovely condo for a holiday visit

The condo was clean and fresh and nicely decorated. Especially noteworthy is the kitchen - most well stocked utensil selection I’ve seen in a home rental, which was important as we were visiting family and helping with Thanksgiving meals. Will definitely stay again when I am visiting family.

Nice Place

The property was nice and spacious for a condo. It needs a little TLC but all in all it was nice. The kitchen is fully stocked for all your cooking needs with the exception of the frying pans. They are no longer non-stick but not a big deal. A little deep cleaning for the carpet due to a lot of spots and all would be good. Again, it was very minor things, but definitely not enough that I wouldn't stay again.

Sandbridge salty dunes

Other than having no air conditioning and not being told the gate codes all change on Saturday at 10am, our stay was fine. It was quiet and comfortable furnishings

Spacious accomodations

This was a beautiful location and a very comfortable place to stay. The rooms are very generous. My wife enjoyed the jetted tub (though there could have been more hot water :)). We went in October, so it wasn't really swimming weather, but the beach was very close and still a nice place to see and hear the waves. Overall, a very nice place to visit.

Clean & Convenient

The property was directly across the street from beach access, a market and restaurant. The condo itself is in fantastic condition and is the cleanest beach rental I've stayed at. My only complaint is that I could not find the gym that is advertised in the listing, nor did I receive a "swipe card" that is supposed to be used to access it.

Great stay!

Nice condo, large balcony with ocean views! Master BR suite was enormous! Kitchen well stocked with cookware, made eating in easy. This was our first ever stay in Sandbridge - we will be back!

Great Location - Poor Communication

The location of this property and the very convenient parking space next to the elevator helped to make up for the downsides. The cleanliness left something to be desired but it was very well stocked. I had expected to see the beach - but the view was mostly obscured by the sand dunes. We had a lot of difficulty checking in as we arrived on a Sunday. As well we were not aware we would need codes to get into the building - and it changed while we were there. Your communication left a lot to be desired. Still, due to the wonderful location, we may return next year. We just hope for better communication,

Great week at the beach!

This is our second time staying at the Dunes and we love it! Can’t beat the location and our kids love that there are so many other families on-site because there are always other kids to play with. The Salty Mermaid was great! Very clean and well-stocked, comfortable furniture/mattresses, and a great view! One thing worth mentioning - this particular unit does not come stocked with beach supplies (cart, chairs, toys, etc.) so you’ll have to bring your own. We did find a key to a storage unit on the last day, but didn’t check to see if there was a matching closet. We ended up dragging the beach cart upstairs every day, which was fine, if a bit sandy. Overall a great stay, though it would be a major upgrade to include a beach cart and chairs with the unit.

Lovely condo!

Condo was a lot bigger than we expected. Well equipped. Super close to the beach. We really loved the fact how quaint the area and beach was. Not crowded or full of tourists. Excellent place to enjoy the beach and truly relax.

Exactly as described

Loved our stay at this unit. It's exactly as described with a view of the beach and ocean across the street. Sipping coffee while watching the sun rise from the balcony is the perfect start to the day. This is a much more remote area than the touristy part of VB so the sound of the wave was the only thing we heard at night - another big plus. The unit was comfortable and clean but be prepared to bring every ingredient needed if you're going to cook. There's a market right across the street but the hours may not be convenient if you've forgotten something. My only issue was with communication. This property is managed by Vacasa and, when I found that I didn't have access to the advertised fitness center, I mistakenly called the National help center. They were nice but gave totally incorrect information. I eventually called the local office and they were FANTASTIC, sending someone to deliver a key right away. Given the view, the comfort and superb service by the local Vacasa folks, I'll be booking this unit again.

SO happy for the view

Very well-appointed cottage (everything we needed to sleep and prepare food) and LINENS - So Happy about Linens being included (since when is this a thing to make people coming on vacation bring sheets and towels ?? ug). We have fully-made beds with a towel set for each of us. And a new dish soap, hand soap, dishwashing detergent, sponge and 2 towels for kitchen - yay). and the VIEW was a happy surprise (you always worry about advertising lies. NOPE - it was lovely and the sound of the beach and the access to the beach and the great restaurant (ate there all three nights). Couldn't have asekd for more (except TP - only 2 rolls for 2 bathrooms for 3 days -- eesh. Other than that, the dryer didn't dry clothes - at all. Just didn't dry them. We finally broke the rules and hung PJ's on the porch and towels over the chairs outside. We LOVED the people at the check in -they were SUPER helpful and we had to call them a couple times to figure out how to get in. SO helpful.

Amazing

Amazing experience all around. Wonderful place to stay! Bigger than the pictures let on. Great ocean view. Location is perfect right off a great beach with nearby market, shops, and restaurants. We will definitely be coming back regularly.

Long weekend getaway

We are a family of 4 looking to getaway for a safe long weekend. The set up of condo was perfect for our young children. The pool would have been perfect to play in if it was open and the beach was at a wonderful walking distance. The condo was clean, bright and very welcoming.

2021 Easter Vacation

Family vacation 2019

This was our first time at VA Beach and this property. The location was fantastic and the unit was awesome. It was very clean and everything was in working order. The styling and decoration were modern and pleasing. We would look forward to renting this unit again.
