It’s a beautiful house! It fit our family perfectly. The cleanness of the house was very poor. The 3rd floor living area was clean, the rest of the house lacked clean floors and bathrooms. Overall it was a great trip with friendly staff at the management office who made sure we had what we needed.

Pros: The owner allowed us to check in a few hours early which was great because We had 16 people there to celebrate our family Christmas. The layout of the house was very functional and I loved that every bedroom had its own bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. There was a lot of seating in the kitchen for all of us to eat together. The bathrooms were clean. The hot tub was enjoyable. Cons: Although the bathroom facilities were clean, the floors throughout the house including the bathrooms were not clean. The ceiling fans had about 1/4 inch of dust on them which flew around the room when the fans were turned on. We found quite a bit of dishes in the cabinets that were very dirty. There’s quite a bit of maintenance repairs that need to be done on this house. The floor boards under one of the bathtubs was very creaky when you stood in the tub. There were a lot of little things such as toilet paper holders falling off, kick plate under the kitchen sink falling off, rusted vent grates, rusted grill grates, etc. The biggest problem was the clogged kitchen sink. We did not call the property manager about this because luckily my husband is a certified plumber and was able to rectify the problem. He did however have to take apart and put back together the pipes under the sink to rectify the problem. I think with a deep deep cleaning and some maintenance repairs that this house could easily be a 5 star property.

Fall 2023 Birthday Bash

We had a great time at this place for our fall celebration! The house size and location were absolutely perfect! Admittedly the place could use a good deep clean to really get an A+. But if you have an easy going group who wants amazing views and easy access to the ocean and the bay then it’s absolutely perfect. We are that group so we had a stellar time and would love to come back.

Great views, needs maintenance

Pros: -The view! The view of the bay was absolutely breathtaking, and the pictures on the website don't do it justice. -Large common area with two large tables. Perfect to keep one as game and puzzle central while the other one is used for eating. -Each bedroom has a corresponding bathroom, which is convenient. -The proximity to the beach is less than 2 blocks and very convenient. Cons: -The two bedrooms (and bathrooms) plus the kitchen on the lowest level were completely unusable as the entire space was moist and smelled of mildew. On our first night at the house, we requested a dehumidifier or an air purifier, but one was never delivered. -The house wasn't very clean. When we first arrived, we noticed there was a lot of dust under the coffee table and dead bugs in many of the windowsills. We reached out and noted the issues with the cleanliness. The following day, a cleaning crew arrived, unannounced, to take care of the two issues. -We ended up vacuuming the entire main floor, because it seems like it hadn't been done. -The shower curtains were mildewed. On the second day we were at the house we called and told the management company we expected new shower curtains (6) and a dehumidifier by the end of the day. They confirmed they'd do so, but we didn't hear back. -All of the dishes we used we ended up washing before using because everything was just dingy. -We had no kitchen trash can. After reaching out to management about it they said they'd take care of it, but we ended up just having to scavenge around the property to find two trash cans that we used for the duration of the trip. Things that need to be fixed: -Stove on the left. The burners, even on low heat, are way too hot. -The stove vent fan is broken and incredibly loud when turned on. -Something is wrong with the dishwasher--even after the cycle the dishes were often covered with what looked like coffee grounds. -The dryer vent needs to be emptied--took quite some time to run a dry load. -The trees in the front of the house bang against the front of the house in the middle of the night. -There is clearly a lot of water damage to the home. We worried about mold. We definitely won't stay at this property again and we most likely won't stay at a Vacasa property again, which is unfortunate. It seems like this property has a lot of potential, but it definitely isn't worth the pricey cost with the underwhelming cleanliness and obvious water issues.
