  • Welcome to Isle of View II. This peaceful 3 story beach home offers beautiful views of the wide Atlantic from each level plus more than enough space for everyone to spread out and relax. You will find 10 spacious bedrooms and 8.5 bathrooms, a stocked gourmet kitchen with bar top which is connected to the dining area and family room. Gather for a family night in the game room which offers a mini kitchen and wet bar! Enjoy a dip in the beautiful in-ground pool, relax in the nearby hot tub, or walk across the street where you'll find easy beach access and take a short stroll to the beach and enjoy some fun in the sun! This home is dog-friendly, ensuring no family gets left behind during this vacation! Located in Sunny Sandbridge Beach, Virginia-No 4 x4 needed for Virginia.

Wonderful Beach Vacation

Love it!!

It was too cold to get in the pool, but the hot tub was a plus. A small elevator would have definitely been a plus. Lots of room for the family. Plenty of bathrooms. Overall, I would recommend people to stay here and my family and I plan stay there again.

Great time in Sandbridge

We had a group of 7 families with small children and we had a wonderful time! The common areas were big enough for us all to spend time together and each family having their own room and bathroom was so nice. The house has wear and tear like you would expect at a rental house but overall was very comfortable and well kept, and the kitchen was well stocked. The very short walk to the beach made it easy to come back and forth from the beach with small children. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely beach week with family!

The home has plenty of room, and is well configured. The main living area, however, is on the upper level which can be a challenge for those with mobility problems.

Vacation week

It was nice it could have been better both refrigerators smell like fish we had to clean them up. The grill was very nasty we cleaned it up. Kitchen tables were very nasty we cleaned them up. After that things got better.

Comfortable lodgings

The property worked really well for us. The living room/kitchen communal area is on the 3rd floor. Just FYI for anyone that would be a problem for, but the space was perfect for our group. The only thing that was frustrating was that the cleaning/prep crew in charge of readying the house for guests did not stock the property properly with toilet paper or soap in 80% of the bathrooms, so we were forced to go buy supplies we shouldn't have had to.

extremely disappointing

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Isle of View Too was awful. There was a tub in one bathroom that leaked through the floor into the bathroom below. Another bathroom sink was clogged. The carpets are worn and filthy. The kitchen had a main drawer hanging loose so it could not be accessed nor could the drawers below it. We have been renting homes at Sandbridge Beach since 2003, summer rental prices have gone off the charts since 2021 and homes like Isle of View Too are asking astronomic rental fees but not being maintained to the level expected of this high price. We are not coming back to Sandbridge because of this awful experience at Isle of View Too.

Not all that I had hoped for.

Though the location was exactly what I wanted, I found a ladder propped up in the foyer when we walked in. Also we were put off to discover that when we arrived the outside stairs, which had been out of use in a review from 2021 were still not in place. Silly of me to assume that they would have been finished 2 years later. Then we discovered that the pool and the hot tub had also not been cleaned prior to our arrival. We lost Wi-Fi on the third day of our stay, which was quite inconvenient to those members of our party that needed to be able to get online for work. Despite messaging Wednesday evening regarding the loss of Wi-Fi, and the fact that nobody came to clean the hot tub or the pool on its scheduled day, Wednesday, we heard from no one until late Thursday night when I texted a second time. When the pool maintenance people arrived Friday morning, we were told that they did not service the hot tub, a contradiction to what I had received via a text message. I was told when we were getting ready to check out that someone would reach out to me to discuss my disappointments in our overall stay, but three days post check out I have yet to hear from anyone. We have the opportunity go away every other year, and it was quite disappointing to have there be blemishes on our trip.

The location, room configuration, pool and hot tub were terrific. The house was clean upon arrival and the process for check-in was smooth. We enjoyed the common areas of the house. There was plenty of space for our large group. The beach access and neighborhood were very nice. The pool and grill area were great.The condition of the house was more worn than we expected for the price. There was new carpeting and comfortable furniture in the upper level great room. However, the appliances (both refrigerators/freezers, dishwashers. washer and dryer) were in need of serious repair or replacement. The racks in the refrigerators and freezers were broken which limited storage. The racks in the freezers were taped which caused frozen food to fall out. Several of the dressers had broken drawers or missing knobs. The latches on sliding doors in several bedrooms were broken and the locking bars did not function. The kitchen contained plenty of cabinets but not much pantry storage. The kitchenware should be upgraded. Most pans were too worn to use. The cabinet holding the trash can was also broken. We understand that rental properties can be challenging to maintain and it is the end of the season, but we would expect that the basics would be in good working order based on the price we paid. We would consider renting this house again but only if the the areas and appliances that are most worn were repaired or upgraded. Great house location and configuration

Isle of View Too

Many things in the kitchen were not in good shape-broken shelves and door cubbies in the refrigerator especially. The kitchen had every pot, pan and appliance you could imagine which was great but that unfortunately left no room in the cupboards for food and staples. There was a sign posted on the fridge stating that the pool and hot tub would be serviced on Saturdays and Wednesdays. The pool was serviced on Wednesday but when we called about the hot tub we were told it was only serviced on Saturdays unless we wanted to pay an additional $120. We chose not to pay but were disappointed with the contradiction in the information shared and, of course, could not use the hot tub for the rest of the week. We re;;y did love the house and its location but would not return if the above items were not rectified.

The gas grill was in horrible shape and we needed to go buy cleaning brushes and grill scrapers before we could use it. The cleanliness of the house was very disappointing (the sweeper was not run, counters in kitchen not wiped down, the shower curtains were moldy, front entrance door was filthy and screen door did not close) a lot of updates are needed (replace moldy shower curtains, missing/broken slats in window blinds, stains all over the carpeting, handle on refrigerator on lower level was torn off and some shelving was broke in both refrigerators, and the stairs leading to the upper deck not finished and unusable. I would recommend this property. BUT would definitely warn the renters of the above mentioned issues. I also would rent this home again if it was deep cleaned and updated with above mentioned issues.

Perfect Location for Our Large Family (11 to 78 years old)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 21 (parents, 4 siblings, lots of cousins) had a great week at Isle of View Too in Sandbridge! We have vacationed for years together from St. Augustine to Cape Cod and agreed this was the best house we have stayed in yet (size and affordability). It was very nice and clean and Ocean Sands Realty was GREAT to work with! The 1st floor was perfect for all the kids with the pool table, mini kitchen and easy access to the pool! It was also so close to the beach that we felt comfortable letting the kids come and go as they please. We LOVED that there were no TVs in the bedroom because it "forced" us all to spend time together! The view of the ocean for the 3rd floor balcony was on point! The kitchen also had everything you would possibly need and then some. The large dining tables were nice so we could all sit together over meals. We already reserved the house for next year!

Disappointed that the external stairs from top floor to ground was still "in progress". Property managers responsive to issues on the wifi issues, which were promptly resolved. Would suggest that info about trash pick up be provided as our trash cans were full when we arrived. Overall, very satisfied with house and we enjoyed our vacation!

Kitchen was beautiful with lots of space. Easy to maneuver with two dogs and our family. King bedrooms were very nice. The decks are all nice to sit on and have beautiful views. Pool and hot tub were nice. Plenty of towels, but if you want beach towels, bring your own. Washer and dryer conveniently located on the second floor. Bring your own laundry soap and dryer sheets. Ocean Sands was very easy to work with and quick to answer any questions.If you want good food DELIVERED to your house, call Lago Mar Pizza on Sandbridge Road. You can order online and they deliver to the house. Good food. Fast service. We ordered a few times during the week. Also, have your groceries delivered by Food Lion. We ordered our groceries when we were about an hour out from arrival and had everything delivered to the house.The queen bedrooms are NOT queens. They are full. We did have one couple switch bedrooms to a King room because the bed was too small. The carpeted stairs are filthy, but you can't really help that with the in and out from the beach and pool and such a high traffic area. The biggest negative would be the couch and dining room tables. The couch fits 5 or 6 adults up close and personal, no more than that. A house this size should have furniture to accommodate larger groups. We only had six people and never could all sit together in the living room. The dining room table and high top table are hard wooden chairs, very uncomfortable and the top of the table is aged and looks dirty, but it's not. All in all nice house. We enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I received a call 3 days before the reservation date letting me know the property may not be ready in time. However, they one other option to move the reservation too which we did not take due to the number of beds. After establishing that they did there best getting the original home available with some unfinished details. The management company allowed us to move in early as an accommodation. Th location of the home was perfect and the home was nice. However, this home definitely needs furniture updates throughout. We had a leak from one of the bathrooms into the lower level and after reporting the sent a maintenance person over to look but he did not make any repairs or caulk tub/shower. Overall the home was nice and the group had a good time, so it is what it is.

Perfect for large family group

We had a large family group of many ages; everyone loved our stay. We all had plenty of space to be both together and separate. The pool area was wonderful, location to the beach was fabulous!
