Cockroaches
The photos accurately reflect the property, and the location was decent. The pool was a highlight—especially for the younger kids in our group—and truly the saving grace of our stay.However, just two hours after settling in, we discovered a cockroach. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incident. Throughout our stay, we continued to encounter large roaches, despite meticulously documenting each occurrence and repeatedly voicing our concerns. While staff listened, the response lacked any real urgency or meaningful action.We came here to relax and escape our everyday routines—not to spend nights reassuring teenagers too afraid to sleep because of fear a cockroach might crawl on them. In all the vacations I’ve taken, never have I been told that roaches are “common near water” as a justification. That explanation was not only inadequate—it was unacceptable.We followed up by email and even visited the property management office in person. While that visit was cordial and gave us hope the issue would be resolved, nothing has been done to date. We need a response and a resolution—this experience was far from what we were promised, and guests deserve better.
