  • This is one of the most unique properties on Martha's Vineyard. Located directly on the bustling Vineyard Haven harbor & right across the street from the famous Black Dog Tavern, this cottage offers a truly immersive waterfront Vineyard experience - right in the thick of everything. Everything you could need - from public transportation, to groceries, to restaurants, beaches and so much more - is literally just steps outside the front door. The house was just remodeled and outfitted with all new furniture and appliances. The house is comprised of a fully equipped kitchen, living room, small dining area, 2 outdoor decks, 2nd floor master bedroom with full bath, and a downstairs 1/2 bath. Off-street parking for up to 2 vehicles - which is like GOLD in that area! If you’re arriving by way of your own boat, dock space can be reserved in advance at The Black Dog Wharf, Vineyard Haven Marina and Tisbury Wharf Company.

The property is just amazing and the owner was incredibly helpful and easy to communicate with. Location can’t be beat. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay in Tisbury and/or in the water.

This is a superior listing. We just spent three nights (late March) at the cottage and it was extraordinary. We've stayed in a number of accommodations on MV and this was, by far, the best. The cottage is adorable, super clean, nicely outfitted (kitchen is right-sized for the cottage and has everything you'll need). The first night the wind was up a little bit and we could hear the waves gently hitting the shoreline (that's how close you are to the water). Sunrises were amazing. You are right in the mix (Vineyard Haven), steps to restaurants, shops, etc. We loved hearing and watching the ferries come and go. Magical. Mike was super accommodating and a great communicator.

Great place to relax and enjoy scenery

I would definitely go back to this place! Clean, fully equipped, relaxed atmosphere! Mike was helping with whatever you may need as far as information. We truly enjoyed ourselves!

A great weekend getaway

The house was amazing, and just as described and shown in pictures. It is a 3 minute walk from the ferry - great to do a car-less trip to Martha's Vineyard - rent bicycles and/or use the bus system. We would certainly stay here again.

Wonderful Choice

First time on the Vinyard. Home is wonderful and restful and appointed very nicely. Host was great to work with and everything about the place made us want to come back. Beautiful views and very relaxing.

Fantastic Stay

It was perfect for the two of us. The place is centrally located, immaculate, and had a very comfortable bed. Contemporary beach aesthetic. Walking distance to Vineyard Haven ferry. Hope to stay again!

This is a beautiful property located just seconds away from the ferry. The house has an incredible loft area for sleeping, with ample pillows and blankets to adorn the king size bed. The newly updated shower has many amazing features and the kitchen is stocked for easy use. Mike communicated exceptionally with us upon arrival to ensure our stay started well. We would absolutely recommend this beautiful house to any couple traveling for a nice get away! We would easily 100% book again in the future.

Great stay

This was my second time staying at this properly. Mike is a great host, with good communication. You cannot beat the location. The private beach is a great spot for seaglassing!

A Vineyard Oasis

A true Vineyard oasis! I have been coming to the Vineyard for a few years and this by far was the best house and in the best location. Mike was very accommodating, attentive and the residence was spotless. This was our first time lodging in Vineyard Haven as we’ve only lodged in Oak Bluffs, we’ve found our new home away from home. Great location- great host- amazing cottage!

This little cottage, located on the water in the center of Vineyard Haven is a hidden gem. The house has been thoughtfully renovated, tastefully decorated and is equipped with everything you would find in a 5-star hotel. Mike is an awesome host, the views are incredible - we will be back! Fantastic location and beautiful home

Such an incredibly peaceful and beautiful location! Woke up every morning to the most amazing sunrise. Views out every window, wonderful beach, great for swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. The home is perfect! Nothing is missing and it recently redone, is so nicely decorated and very comfortable! The owner was so kind and accommodating. We will definitely be back!!

Everything We Dreamed About!

Martha's Vineyard has been on my bucket list forever. I retired in June, and this was where I wanted to go with hubby traveling from HOT Florida. We stayed for 1 week. The home is PERFECT, and fancy too! All the comforts of home and more. The lower and upper decks are to die for. We had a car and the parking was HUGE on site.

The description and info regarding the cottage was informative and spot on - no surprises. Host was gracious, welcoming and communicative throughout the stay. Highly recommended, wonderful home away from home

We enjoyed our stay here immensely. Every detail is well planned & executed- this is a very comfortable home, beautifully decorated, and very clean. Restaurants, shops and the grocery store are a short walk away. The kitchen is fully equipped if you want to cook in. The two decks, upper and lower, overlook the harbor and are wonderful places to sit with morning coffee, an evening cocktail, or a good book. The bed and shower are excellent. Mike, the owner, is very responsive, cordial, professional and has created a truly wonderful escape.

Perfect Vacation spot!

My husband and I stayed at this lovely property the week of Labor Day. It's a very quick walk from the ferry, and super easy to rent a car nearby. The house is beautiful, clean, has everything you need, and two wonderful decks to enjoy the awesome water views. The bed and shower are fantastic, as is everything else about the place! Mike, the owner, is great and totally available when you need anything. It's a great location base for a Martha's Vineyard vacation - we can't wait to come back!!

This amazing home exceeded our expectations. This home is beautiful. Tastefully designed, incredibly well-appointed and every thoughtful amenity included. The location is perfect. Right on the harbor. Walking and biking distance to everything. We will leave the car at home next time. The owner was responsive and provided clear instructions for check in. We enjoyed the place so much that we extended our stay. This home is well worth it! We’ll be back!

Wow! Amazing house with incredible view!

We were so thrilled with this house!! This home was more beautiful and well appointed than we had hoped and the location is outstanding. Wonderful views of the harbor, ferries and right in the heart of downtown Vineyard Haven. Just a perfect location! No car necessary, shopping and restaurants all within short walking distance. The property manager, Mike was great, he responded to our questions immediately with detailed, informative answers. The house was exceptionally clean and extremely well decorated and stocked!!! The kitchen, bedroom and porch views were amazing. We can’t wait to stay here again!
