Excellent stay, very clean!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Mermaid Cottage! Exceptionally clean. Nicely maintained property and very well thought-out. Lots of little details to make a stay easy, comfortable, and fun. Excellent communication from the host. Would definitely stay again!

A great spot at the shore

Mermaid Cottage was perfect for Memorial Day weekend at the shore. The house is super clean and well stocked for all key items (cooking, grilling and beach). Location is as close to the bay beach as advertised!

Mermaid Cottage in April

We stayed at the Mermaid Cottage in April for an early season birding trip. The location worked well for hitting all the birding hotspots in the area with a bonus of only being a few houses away from the beach. The neighborhood was quiet. The cottage was very clean and plenty of space for our party of 3 adults. The back porch is a lovely space for dinners. The host was fabulous answering all our questions in a timely manner. Perfect Getaway!

Our stay in Cape May was amazing. The house had everything you would need, it’s in a quiet area, is a short walk to the bay, and super clean! Overall the perfect place for a relaxing getaway!

Family vacation at the beach!

This was a lovely cottage. We enjoyed staying there and looking for all the mermaids. We would recommend it highly to another small group. Enjoyed Stone Harbor and Cape May. Had a great meal locally at Jake's! And we would definitely recommend the ice cream place on Bay Shore Drive! Thanks for the opportunity to share your delightful home in this quiet neighborhood!

Awesome place!

This house is the perfect location, about a 2 minute walk to the bay. The house is small and cozy and perfect for a small family or two couples! We enjoyed the convenience items/linens provided. My only complaint was a few hairs in the bathtub and sand spurs in the carpets when we arrived. The sand spurs were difficult to remove and we were traveling with a baby so that was a stressor. Otherwise our stay was amazing and Kimberly was very helpful and quick with communication! We would stay again

Wonderful Stay

Beautifully and tastefully decorated!! Very clean, even to my standards! Which is pretty high, bit of a clean freak here. We loved hanging out in the screened porch area and playing corn hole in the yard. We also enjoyed taking a bike ride around the neighborhood and loved the private beach setting. Very relaxing stay.

10/10 Cozy, clean, and absolutely perfect!

The Mermaid Cottage is everything you’d ever want for a beach vacation! The most important part of any stay for us is always cleanliness and spotless is an understatement!! With young children it was such a relief to not worry about them playing throughout the house. The listing is true to every word! From the kitchen essentials, to the bikes, clean grill, and other fun surprises, it was above and beyond our expectations! Kimberly was extremely responsive and provided us with everything we needed ahead of and during our stay. I truly can’t say enough about the Mermaid Cottage and we will absolutely be coming back!!

First Family Vacation

First time Villas stay

Small, clean and quiet cottage that has nice amenities available. Safe neighborhood as well. Be sure to take the short walk to the bay for the beautiful sunsets and a short drive to local businesses for coffee, ice cream and dinner. Thank you, Kimberly, for a lovely stay. Would recommend. Took approx 16-18 minutes to drive to Cape May.

Amazing!

The area is beautiful the house is beautiful and quiet. Neighborhood is nice my son is special needs and everyone he said hi to was so nice and sweet to him! A lot of places to visit in just a short drive. The private beach was great for my children they loved the low tides we spent all afternoon out there. Host was amazing ready to answer questions about issues we will definitely be coming back!

Adorable cottage

We had a lovely mini stay! Having never been to Cape May, we chose the mermaid cottage because of its location. I’m so glad we did! It was perfect! The beach (a few steps away) was lovely and quiet. The home itself was perfect for our family. It had plenty of seating and comfy beds. We spent so much time on the screened in porch. It was fabulous!

Kimberly, thank you for allowing us to stay in this cottage home. The Mermaid Cottage is an excellent and very charming place to stay, this cottage was very clean. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay here, we enjoyed the beach and the shopping. I would highly recommend you stay in this cottage home it will not disappoint you. I would definitely stay here again.
