We had a wonderful stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for our two families. The new charcoal grill was a great addition, and we loved being right on the water, it made for a relaxing and beautiful getaway. Our only wish was that more of the windows could be opened to let in the lake breeze. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would absolutely love to stay here again!

Our stay was filled with so many great family memories. From having big family brunches. To me being able to teach my son, nephew, and his girlfriend how to make homemade cinnamon and caramel nut rolls for our three families in the kitchen one afternoon. Being able to get into the lake and walk out on the sand bar right out the back door was so great. No loading anyone into cars wet or having to change in a public bathroom was so amazing. The Lake house had the perfect number of rooms and beds for our three families to be able to have a nice trip together. This may turn into an annual vacation trip for use all.

Quaint lake house able to accommodate a large party of 8 adults. Beautiful lake setting and amenities galore! Plenty of room to bring a boat too.

Wonderful Lake House

The property is a great one for a family vacation. The lake is shallow so it is great for swimmers of all ages. The view is tremendous.

The lake house was very beautiful, clean, relaxing, very comfortable. The rooms were perfect for guests that stayed with us. It was just what the family needed. We couldn't get the WiFi to work, but that was quickly forgotten when the kids ( college graduates) found the numerous amount of board games to play WELL into the night. I can't say enough about the lake views.. JUST INCRDIBLE!! Reminded me of our stays on Cape Cod. My only regret is that we didn't stay here sooner. My daughter graduated from Lawrence University this week, and is off to Colorado State University to continue with her Masters. Sadly, It might have been the last trip to Wisconsin... Definitely, A vacation to Remember!! Thank You!!The Colorado Lee Family

Great Escape

This was our second time enjoying this place and its amazing location... If you're looking to unwind and just forget about everything else but the amazing views that surround you, this is the place.... Food and gas within 1 mile from this location... it was perfect but as always too short....

Great Lake Home

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this lake home. The location on Lake Winnebago was perfect. The hosts were easy to communicate and work with. This place is definitely on our list to return to in the future.

Full of charm & great place to relax

Bedrooms plenty big and lots of seating for a family. The view of that lake was beautiful. Plenty of wood for evening fires. It was a wonderful place to stay!

Loved it

We had 8 of us stay at the house comfortably, we also had a bbq with local family and friends. The sunrise and sunset on the lake were beautiful.

Draft week!

Perfect place for the week !! We loved the lake views and the fire pit ! Lots of room , comfy beds too! Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and stocked with lots of stuff! Can’t wait to come back !

This property was just as it was billed, it felt like a cabin up north on a lake inside. The rooms were nicely decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed.The only negative was the outside could use a little TLC and not being able to open any windows was difficult with the amazing weather we were experiencing, it would have been great to sleep to the sound of the lake.

Had such a great vacation at the Lake House

We really felt so at home throughout our entire stay. Loved swimming, fishing, and brought our own jet skis to enjoy. The property has so many things to do. Puzzles, movies, so many games, bikes, fishing poles, swim floaties, balls and the piano was so much fun. I hope we can come stay again one day!

Just what we needed

My husband and our five kids loved our time at the farmhouse. The sunsets and sunrises, the fantastic fire pit and dock, and the well stocked kitchen truly made this a home away from home. Close driving proximity for grocery runs and great hiking trails. Thank you, Sophie and Ben for sharing your home with us. Just glorious.

2nd Time Still Perfect!

This was our second time staying at the Lakehouse and it was just as great as it was 2 years ago. We had a nice basket of goodies and a bottle of wine waiting on us when we got there courtesy of the hosts. And Sophie was wonderful at communicating and checking on us to make sure everything was going well. This is one of our favorite places to stay when we visit Appleton and we will definitely be back!

Great Lake Experience

We had a great time! Lots of amenities provided including ample towels and household supplies. Great experience for little kids and searching out frogs. Dock is a little rickety and I wish there was a ladder off of it to make swimming easier. But overall a great house to get away from it all!

Wedding weekend stay

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Lake House. My son was getting married at the Waverly Beach Bar & Grill and this house is within a mile of the venue. We loved how close the home was to the water, so on down time, we could watch the calming waves. The beds were great and all was so clean upon check-in. The hosts welcomed us with a gift basket complete with a meal and S'more making supplies. Although we didn't get the chance to use, there is a nice peddle boat, canoe, fire pit and bicycles. A great stay for our family. Highly recommend.
