Amen Corner was a perfect mountain getaway. The home was clean, well organized and welcoming. It had all the needed kitchenware to prepare our Thanksgiving meal. It was a good central location to explore Banner Elk, Blowing Rock and Boone. We loved that we were able to include our dog on the trip; he loved the fresh mountain air! The extra TV room upstairs and rec room downstairs were an added bonus.

Beautiful house!

We had a great time staying in Amen Corner. The house was perfect, very clean and located perfectly for all our outings. Hot tub was also very well maintained and a nice treat after a day of skiing and ice skating. Parking was tight with several other vehicles but would definitely stay again!

Great stay!

Our family of 5 had a great stay. Cabin was clean and pictures accurate. Especially liked the hot tub and loft seating area. Communication was great. And our dog was happy to come along. Definitely would stay again!

Amazing property

This house was perfect from start to finish! The listing was detailed and very accurate. Booking was easy, although I HATE all the separate fees that VRBO has broken down instead of just a total price when looking. Communication the entire time with the management company was a breeze and they went above and beyond to make sure we knew how to get in contact with them should an issue arise, which it never did. We arrived at the property and it was very clean and spacious. The basement level with ping pong and foosball was a hit! The hot tub was extremely clean and the views were breathtaking. Kitchen plates, silverware, etc were plentiful. I loved the starter kit in the bathrooms and kitchen of soap, etc. Extra trash bags in each trash can was very useful. Checkout was also a breeze. Honestly can’t say anything bad about this property. Not sure why they don’t want you parking in the driveway, it is steep but not unmanageable.

Wonderful getaway

We enjoyed everything about our stay - the house was so clean, well stocked, cozy and fun. We loved every second of being there / from booking to check out was a wonderful process for our family to get to enjoy a perfect fall weekend in Boone. Proximity to App State was ideal as we were there to visit the school. Thank you for making our stay perfect!

Spring break 2023

We had the best experience from booking our cabin, to checking-in, to our amazing stay, and last, check-out! This was an incredibly smooth vacation with not one hiccup! The cabin was a perfect fit for my family with so much comfort and cleanliness. We enjoyed “home cooked” meals with all the amenities onsite. This was the most perfect vacation stay for my outdoorsy family, including our sweet Marley! 🐾We loved the hot tub after all the long hikes and enjoyed sitting out on the beautiful wraparound porch. We can’t wait to come back! 🥾⛰️❤️

Amen Corner has it all! It is perfectly located...it is semi-secluded and great for families with small children, having entertaiment space separate from other living areas! We loved it!!!!! It has all the gadgets on the kitche . It is simply a home away from home!!Unforgettable!

Perfect Spot!

Amen Corner was PERFECT! The home was clean & photos don’t really do the space justice. Located close to both Boone & Blowing Rock — lots to do in the area. Property manager was quick to respond to any questions or needs. The views from the porch were great and a perfect place to relax.

We loved the home and had a great time but I left 3 rings behind and was told they were not found. They were in the master bedroom on the shelf with the tv. It is sad you leave something in a house called Amen's corner and they are stolen and not returned. I would let the owner know if I knew how. The home was GREAT! Whoever stoled my rings not so much!

Great stay

Great stay. If it is snowing or icy you will need awd or 4x4 to get up the last hill to the house. House was quiet location with a great view and the hot tub topped it off. Only 10 miles from hawks nest tubing which is where we went.

Great cabin with amenities!

Perfect mountain cabin for families

We went for Family Weekend at App State. Even though we were very busy with events and activities at ASU we really enjoyed all the amenities the place had to enjoy! It was so close to my daughter's apartment and the ASU campus. Very clean and comfortable and had everything we would need. We would love to stay again when we have more time. Would be ideal for a holiday vacation!
