Clean. Nice house. Not the best location. Middle of no where. Upstairs one bath for 3 bedrooms. Including the master. Had to leave early for the hurricane. Our flights were all cancelled so we would have had to stay longer so chose to leave 3 days early. Thought the owner would be sympathetic but nope. Oh well lessons learned. The house is very nice and well appointed.

This home was absolutely fantastic from start to finish! The property managers were incredibly responsive and provided an impressive amount of information ahead of our trip—including a detailed welcome book packed with helpful tips. Honestly, the listing doesn’t fully capture how much this place offers. In addition to a beautifully maintained full house, you get your own private heated pool, outdoor space, and a game room—it felt like our own personal resort! Everything was spotless and clearly well cared for and the fresh daily bread delivery was the icing on the cake! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a top-notch getaway!

Sibling Vacation

We found the listing true to what we found. Four siblings traveling together along with their spouses, 8 total. We comfortably stayed in this house, with enough space for us to gather or find a quiet spot. The kitchen was extra large making it easy to prepare meals or just get ready to go on the next adventure. We spent most of our time on the eastside of the island so the location was between Franco de Campo and Furnas. Staff responded quickly to my questions, even the ones not related to the house. We would definitely stay there again!

A Wonderful Family Vacation

All five adults enjoyed staying at this property. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the amenities enjoyable. We rented a car which is a necessity from this location. Because of its central location, most sightseeing trips can be made within about 30 minutes. Even though our outdoor temperatures were on the cool side, we still very much enjoyed the heated outdoor pool and the lovely surroundings. Communication with property management was excellent. We would all consider staying here again.

Amazing home with ocean views!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Casa Celeste! The home is even more beautiful than it looks in pictures and is walking distance to the center of a cute little seaside village. The kids loved the heated pool and views of the ocean from the balconies.

What a wonderful stay!

Sure! Here’s your text with grammar corrections:We had such a wonderful stay! The house was perfectly clean. The pool was amazing and as warm as they told us it was going to be. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, which was very well organized. The check-in process was easy because somebody from the management company met us at the house, showed us around, and answered any questions that we had. The most important thing to mention in this review is how wonderful the management company is. My mother fell and broke her hip at the beach, and I messaged them on WhatsApp. They responded very quickly and guided us. They even called the hospitals on our behalf. Thank you for everything! We will never forget your kindness.

Clean comfortable property in quiet neighborhood

Property was everything we were hoping for, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Property manager very responsive, we had one issue come up that was rectified the same day. Pool was warm and swimmable even though our visit was in January. Would definitely return.

Stunning ocean view!

An amazing villa with a stunning ocean view! We had a wonderful stay – the location is perfect, the house is spotless, and the kitchen is well-equipped. The heated pool was a big hit with the kids. Upon arrival, we had a guided tour of the house and were welcomed with local products. The highlight? Fresh bread delivered to our door every morning for free! Highly recommended!

Exceeds Expectations

This experience was one of the rare instances where the reality exceeds one's expectations. Everything from the booking, the communications with the owner/managing agent, to the house itself was first rate. A wealth of information was provided both before and during our stay. Questions were answered promptly and recommendations that were given were excellent. The owner also helped by booking a charter boat for us (Azores Fishing, by the way, was excellent!). The house was beautiful and the view from various spots throughout, breathtaking. Everything needed was provided and the house and grounds were spotless and in excellent condition. The house is somewhat off the beaten track but most places on the island are. We would highly recommend Celeste House to others and return in a heart beat. Thanks to all who made this a trip to remember!

Beautiful House with great amenities

We stayed in this house for 1 week and had an amazing experience. The house is very clean and organized and the amenities are above and beyond. My daughters loved spending time in the heated pool and having an outdoor washroom was a plus. Having the option for A/C in every room was amazing. We had to contact the management team once when we lost power in the kitchen and they were very responsive and walked us through getting everything back and running. They also emailed us and made sure everything was running smoothly in the middle of the week.

A great place to stay

We found Casa Celeste to be as beautiful as the pictures in the booking. The outdoor space and pool were perfect for relaxing after the days adventure. The location of the house was convenient to all the island's attractions and it was in a quiet neighborhood. We encountered a few problems during our stay (an ant invasion and the refrigerator stopped working) but the property manager and the owners (who were lovely) were very responsive and addressed the problems promptly. The property managers were very easy to communicate with, which was a big plus! We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful inside and out

It was a great property with a lovely pool area that we would have enjoyed more if we had the time to stay in the Azores longer than 5 days. Special out out to the house managers who were extremely helpful in making use feel welcome and in making dinner reservations and when we had an issue with a rental car.

Great place in Ponta Garca!

The house is great. We stayed over Christmas with two parents and 4 kids (20 - 27). The house itself has everything you need to cook and the pool is wonderful. We walked down the street t see the sunrise every morning. There are two grocery stores within 5 minutes of the house. We preferred the Meu Super Mercado. It has everything you could possibly need and the staff are super friendly. You need a car. We had two cars given twenty somethings who might want to do something different than the parents. Driving is a bit challenging. Tight spaces, cow parades on the road, and general navigation. You can definitely do it if we could. House is close to Furnas - we went to the hot pools at Poca Da Dona Beija 3 times. It was spectacular. Lots of hikes in Furnas area and Lagoa do Fogo hike is highly recommended - also close. The other hike that was crazy cool was Groto do Inferno. We had a great time at Casa Celeste and hope to come back!

Amazing!

Casa Celeste was the perfect home base for our week on Sao Miguel. The house is very nice and welcoming to come back to after a day of exploring. Pool was lovely and warm. Kitchen was very functional. Beds were super comfy. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Home- fully equipped

This home was a perfect home base for our family of 5. It’s centrally located with amazing views. The pool was warm, the AC was cold, and we had everything we needed to cook at home. I wish we could stay longer and take advantage of all the spaces and amenities the home has to offer. We would definitely stay again!

Amazing property for the family---wish we invited more friends!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Celeste. Our family felt safe and the house was clean. The heated in ground pool was a hit with the kids- even on rainy days. We felt like the house was centrally located to all the activities we wanted to do on the island. We loved the fresh bread delivery in the morning. The house felt very spacious and modern, but very comfortable. The owners and management is very attentive. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Our girls are already asking to go back! The only problem was that we wish we could have stayed longer, but dates book up quickly. 🙂 Thank you for helping us create some amazing memories on this family vacation.

Wonderful, spacious, comfortable house away from the crowded tourist areas

On our third island and we were a bit tired of eating out every night, so we reveled in the cooking facilities (outdoor grill, oven, cooktop, dishwasher, loads of pans) as well as separate dining room. We loved being able to have an upstairs for one couple and downstairs for our other traveler with large separate bathrooms for each. The washer and dryer were great assets. Couches indoors and out for relaxing, not to mention the heated pool, which we only used once as it was a bit cool during our visit. Host's representative provided invaluable assistance with issues we had (not even house-related) and was very responsive and gracious about addressing our ignorance in hose to operate items at the house.
