Personal encantador. Entorno muy tranquilo y relajante, además de tener unas fabulosas vistas. La habitación no es demasiado grande, pero suficiente si vas a estar pocos días. Dispone de jacuzzi gratuito. La WiFi funciona bien. El desayuno es bufé, muy variado y con buenos productos. Aparcamiento amplio y gratuito. La limpieza justa, pero suficiente. Calefacción, ducha con agua muy caliente, secador de pelo y hervidor con café gratis. TV plana con canales internacionales. Camas individuales. Cerca de la carretera principal.

Nos quedamos sin hotel a las 22:00h
Nos cancelaron la reserva sin avisar. Llegamos a las 10 de la noche y nos dicen que cancelaron las reservas porq habian intentando cobrar y no había dinero en las tarjetas. No nos llamaron de que no podian hacer el cargo, en ningun sitio ponía que había que pagar antes de las 8 de la tarde, no recibimos ningun aviso. Evidentemente, no damos las tarjetas a todo el mundo, en estos casos usamos tarjetas que vamos recargando, y si sabemos que van a hacer un cargo la recargamos, y si no pagamos al llegar al hotel. Además en recepción nos hablaron con mucha prepotencia. Al final les quedaba una habitación y nos acomodamos 4 personas como pudimos!

Lo recomiendo
Un Hotel muy facil de localizar, limpio y confortable, cuenta con excelentes instalaciones, bar, restaurante, piscina de agua caliente, amplio aparcamiento, buen desayuno... Las habitaciones están muy bien, muy limpias, camas cómodas y el baño muy limpio. Lo único que no me gustó es que la conexión wifi no funcionaba en la habitación (si en el restaurante y el aparcamiento).

Im neuen Gebäude super super schöne, großzügige und extrem saubere Zimmer. Ein paar Tage später haben wir nochmal im alten Gebäudetrakt übernachtet, der war etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber auch blitzsauber. Unserer Bitte, wieder im neuen Gebäude zu übernachten, konnte das Personal nicht nachkommen, hat dafür aber ein kostenloses Upgrade angeboten. Wirklich top, tolles Personal und nah an Vik aber ganz ruhig.

What an amazing little property. Out of the town of Vik, giving you the darkness needed to try to see the lights. The hot tub and changing areas were clean and accessible. Same with the sauna. Really cool to sit in the hot tub and see the sky while it’s snowing.

Amazing hotel! Room was lovely and impeccably clean with (when the rain stopped!) beautiful sea views. Staff were welcoming and super helpful. Dinner and breakfast were great and there were lots of gluten free options which staff were very happy to assist me with. The trip was topped off by a sighting of the northern lights!!! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The place is really nice and clean. Breakfast was included but unfortunately, we checked out 15 minutes before break was served at 7 am and we asked if we can get some food to take on the road but was denied.

The setting is incredible - it was remote enough for us to see the Northern Lights over the hotel! But also convenient to Vik. The breakfast spread was impressive and the hot tub and sauna were awesome. The room is clean and pretty standard. Would stay here again!

Gutes Hotel mit kleinem Mangel
Wir haben 2 Nächte hier verbracht. Das Hotel erinnert von außen an eine amerikanische Kaserne und besteht aus mehreren Gebäuden. Uns haben die paar Meter durchs Freie laufen nicht gestört. Innen ist das Hotel sehr modern gestaltet. Es war alles sauber. Personal freundlich. Das Badezimmer war sehr klein und hatte quasi keine Abstellfläche, dafür gab es aber direkt vor der Badtür ein kleines Regal welches wir dann genutzt haben als Abstellfläche. Frühstück: Auswahl super. Brötchen, Toast, usw. Waffeleisen zum Waffel selbst machen. Wirklich ansprechend. Negativ ist uns die Hellhörigkeit des Zimmers aufgefallen. Erste Nacht saßen lange andere Gäste im Aufenthaltsbereich und haben sich lautstark unterhalten. Außerdem waren in beiden Nächten Gäste im Zimmer nebenan, die den Fernseher laufen ließen. Dieser hing wohl direkt an der Wand über unserem Bett. Man konnte sogar den Film erkennen, der geschaut wurde...

Convenient layout of buildings around the main restaurant and hot tub. The food was fantastic and the rooms very comfortable. Very close to the town and easy to get to.

The hotel is really great. Extremely clean, automatic door to get in and out of the building with the rooms, fast elevator, great dinner food, large comfortable bed, large room, fresh modern look. The only negatives are nitpicking: no mini fridge, breakfast extensive but no hot eggs or meats, toilet area a little cramped, no ice machine and the bartender a stickler about giving out ice to take to the room. Really a great stay and I would definitely stay there again.

Ok
We had to wait to check-in even though there were a few staff at the bar opposite talking. On the paperwork I was given one room but was given the key to another, which turned out to face the mountain amd entrance to the other building, I wish we had the room on the paperwork as that seemed like it would face out. The room was basic. I could hear people move in the hallway which was frustrating. I realised after it was too late to cancel that it would have been cheaper to book direct. Reception didn't have cables for the car charging point, even though the receptionist knew it was common people in hire cars don't get given compatible chargers. The hot tub is very exposed, I booked this place as I wanted to use it but it was too windy. Overall fine but not great.

We are popular Hotel that's why sometimes people need to wait and the bar staff is responsible for the bar, anyway sorry for the inconvenience that happened to you. The charging station is outdoor service which don't belong to our Hotel, but anyway is goof facility that guests can use here at the place, but we don't have the cables.We are sorry to hear that the weather was not so comfortable, but we can't be responsible for this inconvenience. Nice cozy hotel with some work to be done
Room was small but clean and in good condition. Spa area (locker rooms, gym) smelly and dirty, could need some deep cleaning ... Sauna had some holes in the wall, hot tubs was ok, but could need some cleaning as well. Restaurant and breakfast were excellent, staff at reception (Raphael) was very polite and supportive

Not worth it
We stayed here during our trip to Iceland at the end of December. The prons of the property are its location just 5 minutes out of the city, in case you get lucky with northern lights activity during your visit and a decent breakfast. Other than that the establishment is just not worth the price tag it comes with. We started our check-in with a delay as the room was not yet ready and as part of the check-in, you are asked to sign a waiver that the property is not responsible for any of your belongings. This was a little off-putting as they don't even provide a safe in the room. We booked a double room with hot tub access and no information was provided to us about the hot tub access. For the price tag, this property is just not worth it as the service they provide is more like a motel whereas they market themselves as a three-start establishment.

Cosy little hotel
The room was so clean, and stocked with towels, soap and tissues. The rooms were small but on a cosy way - Check-in was super quick and smooth.

Very nice stay!

This property is a good stay option with a sauna and hot tub. The breakfast buffet had many options. The staff was not very helpful or polite. We asked for our rooms to be cleaned and after a day of touring and hiking, we returned to our room not only uncleaned, but towels weren’t even replaced. When we went to the front desk to ask for towels they were curt with us. Another major issue was the bedding. The pillow and duvet have a rough sear-sucker pattern. It was uncomfortable, especially for my husband. When we asked for another fitted sheet so my husband could use that as a blanket, we were dismissed and told that wouldn’t work and that in Iceland you use a duvet only-again, the duvet wasn’t the problem but the cover was very textured and uncomfortable for my husband. Finally, we only got 1 pillow and when we asked for a second one, we were told no! We travel a lot throughout Europe and we are not unreasonable guest by any means. I have never written a negative review and have booked over 20 stays with Expedia. This property is nice, but the staff were just not hospitable at all.
