The location and property was a bit better than expected. Parking was easy and relatively inexpensive. Customer service was borderline terrible as far as discussions via the VRBO messaging. We were only in Vienna for two nights and our original booking needed repairs so we were placed in another apartment in the same building only to be told we needed to come back while we were sightseeing and move to the original apartment the next day. The messages were rude, inconvenient and made for a frustrating time. The people we met with were kind and helpful and both apartments were good. The only other comment is that my tall 24-year old son was to sleep on the sofa beds each night and they were very uncomfortable (and he doesn't normally complain). Just to consider, if you're needed a third bed.

Old and uncomfortable

Very old rustic apartment. Worn out/broken furniture. The floors are creaky when you walk at night everyone wakes up. The walls are thin and you can hear the neighbors talking and you can also hear their TV. There is a bar below the window and the noise can be heard all night. We were thinking it was a luxury apartment, but it definitely is not. It is advertised for three people but we were charged a lot of money for the 3rd person for "electric and water" which is very greedy.This place is definitely not worth what we paid and we're very disappointed that the quality didn't match the nightly rate.heard all nightheard

Interesting flat in neighborhood close to transportation.

We love using Vrbo and use it often. Could not give this a complete five stars because there are five star units out there. It really go above and beyond. This one is really solid though. Just a little tired looking and some things were a little . Elevator slow. Ant traps in the kitchen. Did not feel comfortable cooking there. Strange, toilet fairly far from the bathroom, which was weird. Definitely great place or sightseeing in Vienna.

Wonderful Hospitality and Location

We were truly fortunate to have some very hospitable hosts. In reserving the location, I mistakenly put down two guests when it was actually 5 total - my wife and three children. But when we got there they were very understanding, and the place worked out well for all of us. I highly recommend staying here if visiting Vienna - the apartment was exactly what we needed, and the location was fantastic - close to several forms of public transportation and not too far from the city center. I highly recommend it!

Das Appartement hat eine absolut tolle Lage. Check in hat super funktioniert. Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der Wohnung sehr genossen. Wir können es nur weiter empfehlen und werden es bei unserem nächsten längeren Aufenthalt in Wien wieder buchen. Absolut empfehlenswert.

everything is perfect

The location is ideal, just about 5 minutes from the opera house, from where you can start the Vienna city walk as Rick Steve recommended. The staff is very helpful. We arrived early, before noon. Eva was there to meet us, help us to store our luggage, so we can start exploring the city immediately. The apartment is very spacious, it is the the best apartment in our Europe trip. There 2 2 bedrooms, one with queen bed and one with single bed, and there is a water bed in living room.

Clean, comfortable apartment; close to centre; can get noisy

In terms of location with respect to the city centre, this apartment was perfect. It's a short walk to the major tourist sites, as well as to the Staatoper, the starting point for many of the Hop-on-Hop-off buses, as well as a hub for public transit. Lots of great little places to eat in the neighbourhood. Eva and Michi were great about helping us out with a few things - and let us leave our bags with them on the final day (despite it being a holiday). The apartment itself is very airy and clean. There is a huge discrepancy between the two bedrooms - the master bedroom with the double bed is immense, while the other bedroom is quite small, but if you're with friends then these are just places to sleep. The balcony is very comfortable and gets great evening sun. The only downside to the apartment is the noise. The smaller bedroom gives onto a side-street and right across (at street level, obviously) is a nightclub. Folks come out of this club at all hours of the night - until the sun is coming up - and they can be extremely loud. If it's a summer night and the window is open to get some air, then you will definitely want to have some earplugs. The windows do a good job of containing the noise, but on a hot summer night, closing them is not an option. I would recommend this apartment to someone who wanted something a little special in terms of location and comfort.

I am not someone that usually writes reviews, but I do read them. I am compelled to share that this is an absolutely lovely apartment cared for by very kind people. The location is excellent, beautiful light throughout, creature comforts of every kind. I am so glad I found this treasure.
